The WORST Problem with Taming Daeodon's in Ark's The Underdogs

- Hey, how's it going everyone?! Welcome to Soloing the Ark. I'm Phlinger Phoo. In The Underdogs series, I plan on seeing just how far the Dino's no one ever cares about can actually go. Can Hyena's Take on the Broodmother? Can Calicotherium fight the Overseer? Can you run the caves with just an Iguanodon? I plan on finding out, for the little guys, the dreamers, for the UnderDogs! I look forward to testing out so many things in this challenge!

Seeing all the deaths made me feel better about mine. 😂😂😂 I used to die constantly when i played. I was on official and everything was over crowded so i was either up in the cold or out in the oceans. I miss that base. Took me 3 months to build. I knew it was awesome when the Germans kept traveling to my server to look at it. I so miss playing. My 3 year old destroyed mx xbox. My brother found out and knowing I'm disabled and not on disability, was kind enough to buy me a new one and it's a 1S so no drive. Thank you Mr. Phlinger for allowing me to vicariously enjoy my favorite game through you.

I love the Daeodon as an earlygame tame in place of one of the raptor/sabre/wolf tier. He's way tankier as a primary-mount than those boys and is most useful when mounted, so it's a pack leader favourite of mine. Damage is respectable if you pump it, I never invest in it's food.(Daeodon over Hyaenodons is *chefs kiss*, they will support a pair for the Daeodon mate and +1 boosts). I usually crossbow tame it but do often kill them.
Hugely underrated tame outside it's place in healing boss teams

Pulse pounding War Pig taming action!!! Daeodon certainly provide their fair share of challenges and that is without the additional issues provided by stuff like Yutis trying to make life difficult.
Still really loving the Under Dogs and the Svartelheim series’s Phlinger! Keep up the great work!

Getting used to the keyboard has been a tough one. I'm so used to controller. Maybe I'll get a base made
I feel that. Whenever my controller goes dead I'm done playing until it the controller is recharged.
missed underdogs great episode. :)
daedons feeds up really well on prime meat though. Killing an alpha gives several thousand food to them and are a quick way to fill up their food while healing 1 or 2 dinos at the same time.
Should maybe think about some fur armour for those trips up north XD
I'm not arguing cause I don't use them (I rush to longneck also) but I know you are pumping the brakes in this play thru. So I'm just wondering why you unlocked the rifle and didn't simply stack some tranq traps?

I did have some breaks in there. You're right though. Ark was just released when I discovered it. I played round the clock. I joined up with a guy and i, after about 100 failed attempts, made it to black sands and got a foothold. I had dozens of rafts everywhere. So out of frustration I started taming brontos. I tamed every one i saw. I then took a caravan of 12 brontos, berry tamed 😭, and i decimated the entire swamp i was so irritated. I had lost 15 tames out there. 😂😂😂 It was epic and ridiculous all at the same time. I even rescued a few other folks tames. Once I built my base behind black sands so I wouldn't kill the spawns there my guild mate stopped logging on regular. He was on every three days. I had to travel out of town for a week. I had just imprinted and leveled 3 boss rexes. When I returned half the base was gone, all 115 of my tames were gone. That's when I found out about the decay timer... 😭😭😭😭😭😭😭😭 Lol
...then i took a 6 month break.
@@jefferyvogel3812 I have a love hate relationship with this game. With everything going on now, I feel I paid £100 to be a beta tester while a computer/engine came out that was capable of running it properly. I was definitely good for a while though.
