I live in Pakistan and we have imams who only know how to yell in the microphone and repeat the sermons over and over . they hardly say anything new or related to current times, their sermons are from textbooks boring and often fail to make the connection between the context and the current times and the problems that are being faced by the Muslim society. There’s a lot of innovation and different sects. Molvies’ like to sing praises on microphone before and after the salah. People don’t really know anything about Islam (including my parents) and the religion is being reduced to nothing but a cultural thing that one has to do in order to fit in with the society. I’ve witnessed decline of religious people and religious morality over the years. I’ve been living in China for the past six years and I live in a place where there’s no mosque no Adhan and Muslims are basically oppressed. So when I see these videos and read the stories of the companions of the prophet Muhammad saw, I just feel so lonely and cut off from real Muslims.

@IRISHINFIDEL What's wrong with you? Do you have mental issues? I cant believe you have been watching these long lectures, and criticising from your limited mind every single video. You've honestly become so annoying at this point. We're here to learn and perfect our understanding of an individual who is so loved, that I would sacrifice my parents for him. Your utter nonsense questions doesn't even bring an atom worth of doubt in our Emaan. Be gone with your filthy mindset. Start the seerah again with fresh mind and remove your ego. If you have genuine questions, asks someone who will answer you. Most have ignored you throughout this series.

You will notice that when this sheikh cannot explain something in what he puts out, he will invoke weird notions, such as “Jebreel told the Prophet this and that”, or “this was an exception that the dead could hear only in the case of Badri dead pagans” (even when the Qur’an is crystal clear that the dead cannot hear). Here’s the problem: When you start taking Bukhari and Co (who collected their HEARSAY at lease 200 years the Prophet’s era) as your ‘scriptures’ besides the Qur’an, then you can do whatever you want - wander in the desert of confusion with your “Bani Israel-type” followers, or dive down into the see of darkness from where you cannot come out because you deserted the Qur’an in favor of human-authored books. Did Allah allow you to follow Bukhari and Co??? The Qur’an says “Follow Allah and follow the Messenger”, He (swt) never told you to follow “the Qur’an and Bukhari and Co”!!! The entire Seerah of the blessed Prophet (sws) is fully explained in the Qur’an - the ONLY Hadith Allah preserved for the mankind from its inception to eternity. The Messenger (sws) is gone but the “Message” he left for us is still around for us to follow. This is the SAME Message the Prophet (sws) himself and his blessed Companions followed and this is the SAME message we are supposed to follow!!! This is because Allah is Absolute Just; He will deal with His ibaad the SAME WAY He will deal with everyone else in the past and in the future, asking the same question “Did you follow “Allah and His Messenger” - meaning “Did you follow the Qur’an - the BEST OF HADITH (39:23, 45:6) after he passed away” or did your follow Bukhari and Co?
Is that clear, Sheikh Yasir Qadhi? Or should I continue? Please read and reflect upon the Qur’an before you start lecturing on the Seerah.

So basically your saying to NOT FALLOW the bukhari. If our main scholars today and our old scholars use most of bukhari for the seerah. And you said fallow the Quran and the messenger SAWS, I agree with that. But isn't everything the messenger SAW said is a HADEETH. and aren't most of the AHADEETH that we read today were sehih by ALBUKHARI. Then how can we fallow the sunnah of the prophet saws if most of the AHADEETH we read today were by bukhari and you don't want us to fallow bukhari. I disagree with you and my Allah reward Dr yasir for his effort. Or go out there and give us the seerah if you think this man is just making up things from his head .

Dear Sam, Bukhari (and others) collected hadith on pure hearsay more than 200 years after the exalted Prophet's passing away and he was a human, not a wahi-recipient. His work has no authenticity from the Qur’an, or the Prophet (sws). The basic fact is that what Rasoolallah (sws) left behind in perfectly preserved form is ONLY the Qur'an! Nothing else is preserved. In fact, in 68:36-38 we are told NOT to follow books for religious guidance OTHER than the Qur’an. Hadith collection is not Sunnah. The Sunnah is the unwritten Prophet's practice of rituals relayed by people to later generations through continuous practice. People practice these rituals from practical demonstrations. That's why it is almost IMPOSSIBLE to extract even a single method to pray our salat from the hadith compilations. We pray as we were told to pray by our parents or religious clergy. The Qur'an claims that it is "COMPLETELY DETAILED" (6:114) and all else is "false/fabricated tales" (6:116). The same verse also claims that most of the people are away from the path of Allah. So, the argument “Are or were all these scholars wrong?” doesn’t cut in. If that were the case, the majority today is Christians. Are their beliefs correct?
The true Seerah of the blessed Prophet is described in the Qur'an in its entirety. Are we missing something there? Please let me know if we are.

      1 questions.
where do we fallow the hedeeth? I understand the Quran part but hedeeth explains in detail what's in the Quran. Ex. Allah says "establish prayer. " the messenger told how to establish prayer . So where other than bukhari, Muslim, and other sehih books can we fallow ?. And the truth the Quran doesn't fully tells us everything about the seerah.
2nd question: Allah wants us to fallow the messenger . So if those old tabieen RA gathered all the AHADEETH and put them in a book to make it easy for us the what's the issue here .
