It was funny because Filipinos are stereotyped as nurses working abroad ( it's really a noble job), Lea was 19 I believe when she sang a whole new world for the original animated movie aladdin back in 92 ( she was also the singer for Mulan on the original animated movie) that's why her voice matured. Why does Jasmine say every moment red letter? On a lot of calendars, important days are marked with red numbers and lettering instead of the regular black.
Lea sings this song in every concert she has all over the world. She randomly picks guys in the audience to sing with her so most guys who watch her concert prepare ahead of time just in case they are lucky enough to get picked by her. Some guys are really good, some are bad.

Obviously you didn't know that Lea's the original voice for Jasmine in that song. This is her concert, so if you're a Lea fan watching the concert and nominating yourself to do a due with her, you better know how to sing the song and do the melody first hand.
