I'm impressed with Maricar's sharp observation of the snake. In all my trips to the PI, I have never encountered a snake in the wild, I have only seen them in captivity. How nice to have a hot spring all to yourselves.
i saw cobra once going to one of the caves on Siquijor, You need to be aware, they are part of life here even if they trying to avoid humans.

Philippine cobra and viper snakes are the most venomous snakes..most hospitals in the provinces doesn't have anti venom for it so don't get biten by those snakes.

Most likely was a ratsnake.. they are pretty common there, like in Thailand too where i saw them often in nationalparks.. they are harmless and shy

You guys are mentally tough considering that walk could ended someone life. I'm pretty sure the closest hospital is about 1 or 2 hours drive away and I'm sure no one is train handle a snake bite.
We are lucky that no one harm by that snake.

Hey, Polaco, never liked no kind of snakes at all, this is the danger of living in tropical climates and going into green vegetation, your chances of finding this devils, are high, lucky for her, she got good reflections, to spot that snake on time, give my regards to Lato, and Boniek if you see both, they are my favorite national polish soccer players from world cup, 1974, showing my years ahh??
You always have to watch out for snakes here, good thing they tend to shy away from people. Hahaha I salute Boniek as well as Lata, it's a pity I couldn't watch that mundial it was the best years of Polish football.

Green snakes are not ripe....joke lang. Our subdivision has cobra, pit viper & pythons....and plenty. I know of 2 dogs (pets) killed by snakes
