Gardena Pass (Italian: Passo Gardena; German: Grödnerjoch; Ladin: Ju de Frara or Jëuf de Frea) is a high mountain pass in the Dolomites of the South Tyrol in northeast Italy.
At an elevation of 2,136 m (7,008 ft) above sea level, the pass connects Sëlva in the Val Gardena on the west side with Corvara in the Val Badia. The road over it comprises part of the famous Sella Ring, in which four linked passes (Gardena, Sella, Pordoi, and Campolongo) encircle the spectacular Sella group. The route becomes busy with tourists, motorcyclists, and cyclists during the summer. There are tourist accommodations on the pass itself, and hikers visit the pass to access the dramatic Dolomite mountains.
Sella Pass (German: Sellajoch; Ladin: Jëuf de Sela or Jouf de Sela; Italian: Passo Sella) (2218 m) is a high mountain pass between the provinces of Trentino and South Tyrol in Italy.
It connects the Val Gherdëina in South Tyrol and Canazei in the Fascia Valley in Trentino. With Pordoi Pass, Gardena Pass, and Campolongo Pass, this pass forms a quadrangle around the Sella group. In the winter, ski trails are prepared that make the entire round in both directions, known as the Sella Ronda.

This entire area and region has been photographed by Google in 3D photogrammetry imagery. In my opinion it is one of the premier places they have done so far. What this means is one can do it in VR in Google Earth VR. Another really interesting way to see it is from the many ski slopes. I routinely go down them right on the snow in VR. A little zig-zagging and head leaning and it is just like the real thing. So is pretend riding the many ski lifts and gondola cars. Because VR is in 3D, the perception of depth (elevation) on the slopes is breathtaking. Yep, all the bumps are there too. My home base for skiing seems to always end up at Seceda but I have been down almost all the slopes in the area at one time or another. Google shot all this while some form of snow was on the ground. That makes it especially realistic. I've also driven all the roads in VR, just like you show in your video.
Can you kindly list out the equipment one needs to experience all of this in VR?
