Do you have to use painters tape ??
Do you iron over the tape? We’re new to perler and I’ve had to iron both sides and I have no idea if that’s right
Its all art, so its however you like to do it. I like it this way but loads of people dont like how i do it. I only iron the opposite side of the tape.
What kind of tape do you use just painters tape?

No worries at all. I have loads of videos but the reason is for airflow. when you melt the beads the iron heats up the air also causing it to expand. It cant pass through the tape so it pushes out the fully melted side leaving a hole.

Why do most creators I see use tape ? After I finish my creations , I just slap parchment paper and iron them , does tape have any benefits whatsoever ?
it's bad to iron your perler on the pegboard because the heat can cause the board to warp .. i should know , both of my boards are warped
@@veemodraws but would the baking sheet paper not melt it ? Like mine are fine ig...
@@hrts4abi no .. the boards will still warp . it kinda depends on how much you iron it but you're better safe than sorry
