Great review, missing usb stick inputs for record and playback... Soundcraft and RCF have them, this is a gaping oversight... I would have to carry a separate MP3 player
My DL16S Main Out LR is not responding, ive connected my xlr cable from my 2 powered speakers. How to troubleshoot this one? Just new to sound reinforcement
Hey, Brandon! Jose with Sweetwater, here. Great question! There could be a number of reasons why audio isn't passing to your speakers on the routing side, and I'd love to speak with you more on this. Feel free to give me a call at my extension below and I'll be more than happy to help! Jose Gonzalez, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1786, jose_gonzalez@sweetwater.com
Hey, Levi! Yes, each output on either of those digital mixers can have their own mix. These will show up on the app on your tablet just like an "aux send" on any traditional analog mixer. I hope this helps! Nick Pasquino, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 3230, nick_pasquino@sweetwater.com
Hello, great question. These mixers do not provide power, so you would need a power amp for any passive speakers. However, there are many self-powered speaker options these days that could be used with this without an additional power amp. Thanks! I have a wifi mixer similar to these. Not only is it great to be able to walk around and mix from various points in the room, it also gives multiple points of simultaneous access. One person can be using an ipad to mix front of house, another two or three people on stage could be using phones to tweak personal monitor mixes at the same time. These kinds of mixers really are game changers!
@@davemccall9594 so you don’t feel I would need an external router, I am selling my soundcraft because I can only for 10’ or less from the stage. Ty in advance
@@RobMLyon I don't have personal experience with these Mackie mixers, so I can't suggest real-world range you could expect from them. I had good luck with my Soundcraft Ui24R. I could get at least 20-30' range (never needed more than that). I would presume that if you connected any of them to a powerful wifi router with MIMO and everything, you could significantly improve wireless performance on any of them (if you need to).
Hello, Ronnie! That USB port is just for using with a computer, but you can control that mixer with any iOS device wirelessly. Thanks for the interest! Spunde, Sweetwater Sales Engineer, (800) 222-4700 ext. 1732, Spunde@Sweetwater.com
@@mistaowickkuh6249 The USB output sends digital data. A Mac or Windows computer is compatible with this.Latency is not a problem. It sounds fine. You can use all 32 outputs with no problem.
Why not have multiple headphone jacks for in ear monitoring? Every rehearsal situation I've been in could have benefitted from this. Especially in small spaces because with in-ear for everybody, you don't need to amp up bass, singer etc.
Hey there! Unfortunately no, there isn’t a way to link those 2 mixers together for a higher channel count. If you’re needing 48 channels, I would recommend looking at the digital mixers copied here: www.sweetwater.com/store/search?s=48+channel+mixer&Category=Live+Sound+%26+Lighting&Category=Live+Sound+Mixers&Category=Digital+Mixers#search-header I hope this helps! How can it be 32x32 if there are only 10 outputs?
yes
