What a season for Celtics, It started from the locker room problem to trading Jalen Brown rumors. I remember also that media posting that Boston Celtics is not a playoff team but now they are 4 wins away from getting an NBA TITLE. Mad respect to Udoka and his team
dont think they are up to the level of warriors tho...the last few minutes of both halves are just trash. If they play the ballgame this careless, they don't have the mentality of winning the championship. Coach should take full responsibility if they lost this game 7. So many dumb calls.

Those saying "Jimmy Sold" .. guy is the only reason they had a game 7 at all. Heat were coming off a 0-9 run in the fourth, but you're all blaming the superstar for trying something great? He's had to bring it into to his own hands for having inconsistent teammates and you're salty after he has carried you up to this point? Spoelstra burnt all their timeouts and didn't think about playing more deep like interchanging Strus for Robinson after he had bricked the first half. The guy left his heart out there for 48 minutes and ya'll coming after him ffs
Superstar???? Jimmy butler on a good team is a third or fourth option. Butler is super inconsistent and has terrible basketball iq. I don’t kno how many times the game is on the line and he shoots a fast break or double cluched contested three…. HES ONE OF THE WORST THREE POINT SHOOTERS ON THE TEAM. Doesn’t make any sense why he’s the guy and the end of the game to shoot a three. Being super star should not be his role.

Outside of Jimmy and Bam, look at the collective stats and that last play..how would you have liked it to go? drive in tie it up to give the Celts the last possession wishing he gets contact? Going for the three was the Heats best chance of a play to for the win, it was either himself or his only option Oladipo who Jimmy has been a more proficient shooter than in the past 2 games as Max was covered. Nobody is going to talk about Lowry waddling down the court on the most important possession of the game either? I run faster to the toilet but yeah it was all Jimmy's fault

Never forget how Smart almost gave away the game. Man he missed like 5 shots straight! Thats how it went down to 2points lead.
Yeah no idea why Tatum didn't iso on the celtics last shot. Then Smart ended up having a wide open 3 but decided to drive to the paint with Bam defending him.. damn Celtics are lucky Butler missed.
That was a hell of a Game 7!! Heat almost came back and won but felt short with Butler missing that three. This series was something else. Back and forward each game, blowouts and down to the wire in Game 6 and 7. The Finals is going to be fun.

It is very simple with that many time on the clock. Need to score once and make a stop. BUT first thing is MAKE ONE shot.
Factor in it is home court for heats and all the momentum on your side in OT. Clearly not a good shot because you need to make A SHOT. Take the easy drive!!!

If that shot goes in, Its a dagger and one of the coldest shots to get them to the finals. If he misses, its still the most respectable thing the man could have done to get the win. It was in Jimmy's hands. In Jimmy we trust.

Jimmy is the leader of the whole team. He had the responsibility to take that shot, and he was open. Celtics was leading all the time in this game, so OT might not be a good choice. I tend to agree with Jimmy’s decision, trying to steal this win from Celtics.

Played all 48 mins... saw the opportunity and took it. Wether it was a bad shot or not, man still tried his best. Couldnt say the same with suns game 7

Great series...wow! To all the Jimmy Butler Monday morning commentators...shut-up! The man put the franchise on his back. Miami was riddled with injuries and should of lost game 6, let's be honest. They paid Duncan Robinson all that money and he rode the bench. Their 6th man of the year was hurt. Jimmy was averaging 40+ in the wins...chill out. He has a bad knee, let's not forget...no way in hell he wanted to go to overtime. They made that final run and hit some tough shots...he went for it...he missed, game over. Don't ridicule the reason you did not get swept though. Miami is Jimmy Buckets all day!

Jimmy Butler scored 37 points in the game and he is so talented. Tatum and Brown did a wonderful job sharing great sportsmanship. They are definitely going to the NBA Finals. I wonder what the Warriors are ready for this basketball match.

I didn’t get to watch the game. I actually couldn’t maybe a little cowardly. Well given how this team that I love so much responded at times, I couldn’t find enough courage in myself to watch the game. Instead I went for a drink with a friend. Regardless, I spent some time during the day checking on the teams news and updates. And towards the end of the night, I loved the wonderful ending of game- seeing joy in players’ I faces and the hugging between our guys and Miami team who have put up a heck of a game, especially that hug between Jason and Bam (so genuine and full of mutual respect).
I may be rough at times with my feedback in my interactions with team updates but I have always believed and I am convinced we are one 7 layers step away from banner 18.

Hell off a game. For the clowns hating on Jimmy, the dude played the ENTIRE game and kept heat in the ballgame while the rest of his teammates not named Bam were hoisting up bricks all game. He had the guts enough to take that last shot for the potential win. He was clearly gassed and it isn't like Horford is a 6'0 guard. Al is a good defender. I know everybody wants to be a hero in a game 7 but man Jimmy Butler could have easily tied it up with a drive on the basket. I’m sure he cant get a good sleep for a weeks because of this.
Too bad, Butler couldn't capitalized that shot. But it was a good game. A bit frustrated with some of Celtics players who kept making error like Smart kept trying to shoot 3 pts, you can go for 2 when you got plenty of space to shoot, then Brown kept making offensive fouls. Don't lose these kind of possessions, when you were already leading by double digits. A bit worry if they kept making these errors against Warriors who have better points accuracy. Still congratulations Boston

I got to see how this first game gonna go. Golden State got great offense and great shooters and great defense but those Celtics got defense as well. The turnovers in this series were horrific. It would be a complete blowout by GS if those were to rear their head again. Go Cs!

Imho, Butler should have tried go to the rim and go for the tie (layup, dunk, whatever). He is way quicker than Horford. Then quick foul. And no matter the outcome of free throws get a timeout and go for a designed play. But sadly this is the Curry effect.... Everyone wants to go from deep and get the crowd excited....
