Check out this civilian hiking and camping ration from Ta! Da! Outdoor in Turkey (Türkiye). This Turkish MRE is designed to provide food for an adventurer for a single meal or an 8-hour period. Similar to a Military Meal Ready to Eat, this field ration includes basically everything one would need: a main course, side item, snack, drink, utensils, and even a fantastic flameless heater for a nice warm meal. I have to say sometimes it really shows on your face when you eat something really tasty! It was so great the way the bulgur/kebab made you grin haha

Here in Japan, those coffee bags are probably the most popular way to make a cup. It probably would have worked out a bit stronger both in taste and color if you used boiling water (which may not be an option in the field). I'd prefer instant in an emergency situation since you could just use cold water for a quick caffeine shot personally.

Kebab means meat. I'm not sure if it specifically means beef or that the general inference is beef.

Depends on the type of the kebab. Some include beef, some lamb, some sheep etc.
