Such building in places outside Africa would not reflect African royalty,except it's a theme park. Let your art reflect who you are, your aesthetic and trajectories. 90 percent of African leaders are just a bunch of idiots at times. It should have been rejected at the planning stage. Indigenous plants, flowers, trees and statues to send a simple message. This is Africa. We are still building in colonial images and there isn’t anything wrong with that as it’s all we have know for over a century at least before independence but we must start to change in Africa. We have beautiful mythical creatures that would make good statues only that Muslims and Christians would have a problem with that leaving them with fake classical European statues. I would have preferred ancient Egyptian statues alongside other African ones.
