Before applying For PhD in abroad, at least you try to gain some research lab experience in india or abroad as an internship and try to publish one research paper in any valuable journal. Than approach professor for PhD otherwise professor thinks you are telling a lie. *If you are saying you are really interested your interest should appear in your work*

aerospace is currently in a downtrend unless you manage to get a job in big companies like airbus or boeing
There will be Visa issues for jobs as most of the aerospace jobs require citizenship or green card
