without a doubt..... THE BEST FISHING VIDEO, I'VE EVER SEEN. .... I watched every second of it, and was in AWE of Johnny's fantastic filming. Even though this was an hour+, it flew by and I stayed up until 1am watching it ! I was a spectator boat for all 4 days of that tournament. I’ve fished up there for many years and have a house there. I’ve never seen the weather that perfect 4 days in a row like that. It was amazing.

Great video, & that was a crazy great derby. Never thought the weather would be that good for all 4 days. Crazy to think that 20lb bags of smallies wouldn’t even get a sniff of championship Sunday. I won a Toyota on Erie in 04' and was one of the first to drpshot. I employed both, but gradually moved to more of a PowerShot with the baitcaster for better fish control.... May have been beneficial!

Chris, try the double, triple hook set for the great lake small jaws. Was fishing next to an old timer a couple of years ago on Lake Erie was losing every other fish. He was landing every bite. I watched him and noticed that he would set the hook 2-3 times every bite. I strated doing it and have never looked back. Hopefully, it will help you enjoy your videos.

Had a few airbourne smallies at the US Open. It was great seeing you there! Scent is a huge player when the fish are finicky or pressured. I almost always use some kind of scent when throwing a jig.
Anytime smallmouth or spotted bass are on the menu, scent plays.

What weight chatterbait are you using and what kind of trailer?
Bait fuel is legit. Seen it turn a slow bite into fire.
I will say I am huge believer in this stuff, we were on chicamauga on a Sunday during this past summer and I was doing everything to get a bight I said hang on Jordan I got that bait fuel. Had a 3/4 Berkeley football jig dragging bottom and popping it through grass, couldn’t get a bite. Took bait fuel put it in my zoom ole Montser bag let it sit for a few and litterally next cause caught a 5.5-6 pounder in the same area on live scope they weren’t even giving it a chance before.
