You can also use the little snaggle on the front pocket with a padlock! I have the bigger backpack and you slide the zipper under the snag, then put a padlock on the zipper and then you can’t even push it through without knowing the combination or a key, if you want extra safety!

Both bags look great! Love your detailed review. I'm definitely a fan of that sleeve, it keeps the bag from falling off the suitcase if you just place it there to rest lol!

It's always hard to know which backpack to buy. Especially when some of them have such great features for backpackers, like keeping your stuff safe. Pacsafe makes such high quality products, so I think their stuff is a safe bet! I'm a huge fan of the sleeve, too!
They have so many great features on both bags and it's perfect for traveling :)

Those Pacsafe backpacks are cute. I like the pop of pink! Is it easy enough to find things in the bag with the bucket style opening? I'm currently using ths Pacsafe Metrosafe LS350 which is very functional, but just not as feminine.
Super useful with the bucket style opening! Pacsafe fro the win!
We like the idea of that "sleeve" to put the backpack on your suitcase; that would be so nice to have with my back issues. Even though I am a guy, I think the pink (or another bright color) interior lining is a good idea--I have a hard time finding my stuff sometimes! It's too bad the smaller bag doesn't have the sleeve or water bottle pocket

So helpful I was going to get the small backpack but I’m going to think about it - I have the hobo bag and of course no water bottle pocket and I miss that!! So will wait and see if they address that with an update!

So happy that this video was helpful to you! It's not water repellant or resistant but it is made out of material that somewhat repels water (100D nylon twill).
Hi! Thanks so much for sharing this, so attempted to get one! But I read on several reviews that the straps slide loose and the buckles slip? Especially if the bag is heavy with lots of items. Do you find this at all?
Hi there! Yes, it does slip sometimes but it doesn't bother us at all. We just adjust the straps while we have it on our backs. It's super easy :)

Do you think a 13 inch macbook pro laptop would fit in the 11L bag? your opinion would help a bunch!
Thank you! Don't think the 11L will fit a 13" laptop. It'll hold up to 11" so an iPad will fit.

Thanks for doing this review. I had been going back and forth, couldn't decide which one to get. The mini is obviously cuter for daily use. But the larger one just fits everything. I'm trying to stop having to carry extra bags with me just cos I can't keep everything in my tiny backpack. So I kinda gave up the idea of carrying less. I'll just get a nice solid bag that fits everything I need 😁

Great review on both bags! I really love the 17L bag! Would you be able to tell me how much it weighs exactly? I would like to take it for traveling but want to consider the airlines that include personal items in the carry on weight restriction so I'm curious. Thank you for your videos!
The bag itself is pretty lightweight. According to their website, it weighs 1 lb. 8.9 oz. / 705 g. You shouldn't have a problem taking it with you as a carryon. Hope that helps!
Would the bigger bag big okay as a personal item on a plane?

It's not difficult to take the camera out at all. It's not as easy as bags that are made for cameras but I prefer this method more :)

Liked the review. Just wanted to say that the L is an abbreviation for liters (or litres if you're not in the US). So you should say the volume is 17 liters, not 17 "L". Sounds smarter is all.

Your video is very informative! Can you tell me the colour of the mini you have? On your blog post, it looks like blue but I don't it on Pacsafe's website :(

I’ve been looking into a good bag to use for travel. I have tried a few brands but nothing seems comparable to this. I love all of the features and the design. I will have to check them out!
You will love this bag. The 17L is so useful on all of our travels!
How munch does the straps adjust? A few people have mentioned the straps do not adjust tight enough for someone that is 5"4-5"5. Also, how comfortable are the straps?
The shortest the straps can go on the 17L is 24.5". We are 5'8" and 5'9". The straps are VERY comfortable. It never bothers me and has great support.

Hi! Can the mini hold a 13inch MacBook Pro laptop without a sleeve?
We never tried a 13" laptop in the mini since we didn't have one, but their description says it fits a 13": bit.ly/2BYm9vh
I've read some reviews that the shoulder straps on the 17L loosen throughout the day and you have to adjust it a few times. Do you face this problem?
It does loosen sometimes but it doesn't bother us at all. You just have to pull the straps on the sides and it adjusts easily.

Thank you!😀 This bag is not waterproof, but it's made of nylon, so it's water resistant on the outside.

Yup, we bring the Away Bigger Carry-On suitcase and the bigger Pacsafe Backpack as our carry-on items and the Pacsafe Backpack definitely passes as a personal bag.

Seems as a great bag for my girlfriend. And looks as some good quality as well. How comfortable is it to wear it when the bag is heavy? Does it give some good support?
Yes! It actually has great support and very comfortable. I walk miles with this bag when traveling and I don't feel any pain. My previous camera bags I had were way worse and had crappy support so we really like this one.
I love this backpack but the mini size at 11L is still way too big for a mini backpack. In my opinion a real mini should be like the Kanken Mini (7L) or the Bobby Elle by XD Design (6.5L.) I'd love to use the Pacsafe mini while travelling, though.
I'm actually about to swap my Kanken Mini for a Bobby Elle. Yesterday I saw a woman with her backpack open and two guys hot on her heels. She was about to be pickpocketed. I warned her so luckily they didn't steal anything from her but it made me want to switch to an antitheft backpack. I ordered the Bobby Elle in pink. Can't wait for it to arrive.
Are you bags the black color, or is it blue? Yours look slightly bluish, but the blue online looks much brighter. I don't want to order the wrong color!

Yes, definitely small enough to fit underneath the airplane seat as a personal item. We take the 17L as a personal item on all of our travels and it fits just fine underneath. And we pack that thing! ;)

Does the bigger bag sit at your hips , so the top of the bag will be almost to your neck
The bigger bag is close to the hips and comes up to the shoulders.
No water bottle side pocket? What was Pacsafe thinking? One would think they should have all of it down by now with that higher price.

We have never weighed it, but will have to keep that in mind for next time!

It depends on how much stuff you have in the bag, but generally, yes, it stands on its own.

CAN I put a canon 700 d in the mini backpack ?
Not sure how big the Canon 700 is but we fit our Sony A7SII with a 24-70mm lens in the 11L.

Not really sure what you mean by ventilation but their website doesn't mention anything about it.

Yes, it's lightweight.
Can the mini fit a 13" MacBook?
The mini will not fit a 13" Macbook. The specs say it'll fit up to 12". It fits an iPad just fine.
I have both the 11L and 17L bags. My MacBook Air fits in the mini but not in the sleeve
