From an academic point of view, I think that both Tarja and Anette's voices have got even better since they left Nightwish. Floor also is even better than her pre Nightwish days. Looking back now, I think that Nighwish has been greatly enhanced over the years by having three totally different vocal styles and adapting between the three has really pushed Tuomas creatively and given us all better music. Personally, I think all three are on level par and particularly suit the songs that were written for them in their own eras - credit to Tuomas.
