For the price, it comes with a lot of value. I just received mine yesterday, and I don't have any problems with the GMT alignment. I always love the quartz movement on GMT watches, so that I don't need to readjust the dial, compared to automatic GMT's, where I need to wind and adjust the GMT hand everytime the reserve power runs out. I don't have any problem with the mineral crystal either, some more expensive Seiko automatics, still uses mineral crystals on their watches. For me this is a superb quality Tudor BB58 pro GMT homage.
Thanks for the info, I wondered if it's just my watch with a slight GMT misalignment. Glad to hear that yours is OK and that you're enjoying it. That's true, that some more expensive watches also have mineral crystals. Thanks for watching 👍👍
A great watch for the price. Not quite for me though (I would get an NH34 with sapphire). But people forget, a $100 watch is something many people have to save for. Thanks for the great review.
That's very true and $100 is sometimes the max people want to spend. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
Indeed. I make quite a bit more than that in my daily job, but most of my money is spoken for. $100 is 4 lunches, (or dinners if I work late) per month I won’t have money for. It’s also half a tank of gas for my work truck which I fill 6-8 times a month so a tidy sum indeed. I’d rather spend most of my negotiable income on my family so that $100 is a month of play money for me.
Thanks Al, appreciate the review. I suppose for $90 we couldn't complain about quartz, though you're right, an extra $10 and put a sapphire crystal would still be great value. It would be great if this movement had a high beat seconds hand, it would be perfect. Lume looks good for the price too!
Cheers Brian! Completely agree, they should have charged a bit more and used sapphire. Thanks for watching mate!!
For the same money Pagani design has a watch which doesn't have problem described in the video and is very accurate
@@olegsolomonik6594yes, Pagani seems to have the market for excellent homages which are typically superior, (on sale certainly) to their contemporaries. To many of us they have become a real brand and furthermore are actually themselves copied. 😮
Great review, especially with your noting where costs were cut, which hwlps people make an informed decision. I tbink this watch is a great GMT deal for casual/occasional/travel use, but is slim and vesatile enough for wearing any time. Nice watch!
Cheers mate, I always like to show both the good and bad points. Appreciate your support and thanks for watching 👍👍
Great review man. I think I’m going to have to pick this up
Thanks man that's appreciated 👍👍
I have one and love it. If anybody doesn't it's currently £32 plus tax (with coins discount).
Ridiculous!
Crazy price!
Your attention to detail and your video editing is awesome. Love your videoes. Two questions
1. Where are you from?
2. Will you ever do videoes on affordable Seikos?
Cheers mate!!! I really appreciate the feedback. 1) I'm from Yorkshire in the United Kingdom. 2) I love Seiko and I currently own 10 of them. 'Affordable" is subjective but it's no longer a word I (personally) would associate with Seiko. Thanks for watching 👍👍
If hadn’t recently got the white dial Pagani I’d be seriously tempted.
I've reviewed that Pagani Design... very nice watch. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Imo swiss quartz is a very idea, especially for a gmt watch (even if now there is NH34 movement).
But disappointed with the mineral crystal. Like you, I would prefer to pay a bit more for a sapphire one.
Thanks for the review, Al.
Cheers Johnathan! I like the NH34 but it's been good to try out a quartz GMT for a change. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
I have one on the way, I don't mind the lack of sapphire. And it is cool to have a GMT with a reliable movement (looking at you pearl movements) for this cheap.
I agree, I would much rather have this movement than the Pearl GMT. Enjoy your new watch and thanks for watching!!
Ciao, come ti stai trovando con l'orologio?
@@jonathanmeschi as good as you can get for the price.
Thank you for your nice review. Yesterday I went to check Tudor GMT (mechanical) and found it was too thick. Is this Adiesdive (quartz) much thinner than the original Tudor?
Cheers, you're very welcome! I measured the thickness as 12.5mm including the domed crystal. Thanks for watching 👍👍
14.5mm at its thickest for the Tudor but it’s also slightly higher crystal, probably close to .4mm so the Tudor would feel much thicker on the wrist.
A border around that date window would better balance the 9 oclock indice.
You should give the Pagani a review. I can't find one anywhere. It's a really nice balance between dress & casual and works well on other straps. I wear it on a smart brown leather or milanese.
It's in my latest haul video czcams.com/video/Ysj0IopXLDY/video.html (watch number 3) I'm intending on doing a full review in the near future. Agree that it's very verstatile and it works really well on different straps. Really nice case as well.
It always amazes me how so many turn up their noses at quartz watches. After all, a watch is for telling time, and quartz modules will do it more accurately than automatic movements any day of the week. I have many of both, and I do appreciate all the technology and craftsmanship that goes into a mechanical watch. But for a pick-up-and-go daily wearer you can’t beat a quartz. Be appreciative of each kind for what they are intended.
Couldn't agree more, I'm happy to own both mechanical and quartz. Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch I am awaiting delivery of this watch. I have a few automatic GMT's but wanted a quartz for the above reasons. This will be my first Addiesdive. They also had a great deal on their AD2054 in the most recent sale. I ordered the blue which is very attractive. Thanks for your very detailed reviews. I appreciate all the good information.
Hi there, brilliant review! You’ve sold me! On the rubber strap, what band width did you choose, 20mm or 22mm?
Cheers! You need 20mm straps to fit this watch. Thanks for watching!! 👍👍
Copy that, thank you very much!
@@TimeForAnotherWatch
Arrived. Wearing with joy, thank you :)
@@lifeislikeabrokenpencil8796 Thanks for the update, great to hear that you're enjoying it!! 👍👍
Something I've been wondering! I have a spare NH gmt!! Would it slot in? It's sat in the Pagani world timer I don't use as the 24 hours scale is unreadable most of the time and I use gmt a lot. By the way that orange strap is gorgeous! I don't mind the mineral at all.
That's a good question Howard ... I'm afraid I've no idea if the case and hands would be compatible with the NH34. Thanks for watching mate👍👍
Hands will not fit for sure. GMT hands for NH34 are couple of euros on Ali, the same with dial (could use standard date dial and file center hole to fit GMT pinion). And the check if it will fit into case.
Or better - check with while movement, dial and hands from old watch?
Doh!! Of course you did. It was you that made me pick it up!
Does the bezel rotate? how is the action?
The bezel is fixed. Thanks for watching 👍😁
Sorry for the silly question, what is the Orange pointer for?
Hi there, this is GMT watch. The orange hand is the GMT hand. It is used to track a second time zone. So, it's basically another hour hand but the difference is, that it only travels around the dial once every 24 hours, unlike the normal hour hand which travels around the dial once every 12 hours. The indices on the bezel are 24 hour indices, which are used to read the GMT hand. Thanks for watching!
Awesome piece. As a fan of quartz diver watches I hope they will made the same model with diver rotating bezel.
Thanks for watching 👍👍
Just got it for 50 off Ebay. I don't mind mineral and need a quartz as i have a ton of mechanical
Hope you enjoy it mate. I've still got mine. It's great to have as an easy to own pick-up and go piece. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Just bought this today ali £58 freepost !!!! Wanted the sugess version but price changed mind
Great price! Enjoy your watch my friend, thank you for watching 👍👍
I like quartz but i rather would pay a little more for sapphire
That's fair comment, thanks for watching 👍👍
Made it 500 likes for you...great review mate
Cheers mate, I really appreciate it, thanks for watching and adding the like!! 👍👍
Just to ask you have the same exact wrist size that I have, so how many links you took out for your perfect fit? Also save the links for the straps you recommended as I would buy a couple of straps to keep changing the look of the watch. The bracelet is not quick release?
@@sonnymorgan6141 No, bracelet is not quick release. I removed 2 links. There are links to the straps in the video description. Just click on "more" or "show more" under the video title and scroll down. Cheers!
Another decent effort from Addiesdive, my only niggles are I would prefer a Mecha quartz movement ( do they exist?) and shame about mineral crystal, great review
Cheers mate. I'm not aware of a mechaquartz GMT but it'd be great if someone made one. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Sugess, San Martin , pagani they all try and remake this tudor GMT .. sugess wins I think but price of this is sweet, 5 micro adjust is amazing but I put all of mine on leathers or fkm
From the auto offerings, it would be Sugess for me as well. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Good watch at good price!
Cheers, I have to agree, thanks for watching 👍👍
Nice ! Do they make a bb58 ?
Thanks 👍👍 They do, of sorts ... but it's bigger and more expensive than this watch and mechanical.
Is the bezel fixed?
Yes, thanks for watching 👍👍
Hi, does anybody know how to move the micro adjust please?
Hello mate, if you have a spring bar tool, you just use the flat side to press the end of the spring bar through the hole on both sides of the clasp. Then you move the spring bar up or down the clasp as required and it will spring into the adjustment holes. It's a little bit fiddly but you'll soon get used to it.
@@TimeForAnotherWatch...many thanks for responding. Didn't work though as when I get one side almost off the other side will not budge
Perfect beater, happy owner...gem! Happy owner!
Great to hear that you're happy with it!! Thanks for watching 👍👍
Bought the white and the orange versions. It's pretty good, even considering it doesn't have sapphire. Bought mine from watchdives for $79 each including FedEx express shipping.
Cool, I'll check out the white version. With the $10 discount, it's currently the same price on AliEx, hopefully even cheaper during the upcoming sale. It's a good deal, that Watchdives do free FedEx delivery when you spend over $150. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
@@Emmepi37 yes the GMT hand follows the hour hand perfectly on mine.
@@TimeForAnotherWatch apologies poor choice of words. I bought a version with white indices, and the version with the orange Steve McQueen indices/layout...
@@kobusvanrensburg4092 Ah right ... The Steve McQueen style one looks cool. Good to hear that your GMT hands are properly aligned, looks like I was just unlucky.
Lost my growing enthusiasm at quartz I am afraid. Good review though. 👍
Cheers!
Nice looking watch. I would rather have an automatic movement for this watch. A quartz movement isn't a deal breaker but I'd prefer an automatic. I don't see any negatives with this watch. Especially when you consider the price. Good banger watch.
Cheers!
Cheers Angel. It would have been good if they'd offered this one with a choice of movements. Thanks for watching my friend 👍👍

I just buyed it for 58 U$S now i need to wait 45 or 60 days for the watch that is coming from CHINA to ARGENTINA.
That's a great price, enjoy your watch!!! Thanks for watching 👍👍
Such a strapmonster!!! 🔥🔥🔥
Definitely! Thanks for watching 👍👍
See the Steinhart Olko instead. Great alternative
It looks great but it costs a lot more. Thanks for watching 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch A few hundred bucks BUT Swiss made, and they pay a living wage. I also think the Steinhart looks has better build quality.
This one is just a quartz movement, so it is a deal breaker for me unless the price is much cheaper. Corgeut offers same homage with NH34 movement for just $20 more
It's $90 at full price but there's discounts available and it'll probably be cheaper still in the sale. I've still got a Corgeut NH34 & watch head was OK but I ditched the bracelet immediately, it was nowhere as good as the one on this AD2035. Thanks for watching 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch Have you made a video on the Corgeut watch yet? I am curious to see
@@ultraslashism Sure mate, here's the link to the Corgeut czcams.com/video/1P3_Q6vKiqU/video.html It's a homage to the GMTM2 though, rather than to the BBPro, nevertheless it'll still give you some idea about Corgeut quality. Mine was OK, except for the bracelet. There's very mixed reviews about the watch on Aliexpress, so it seems consistency is a problem.
Lovely piece. Shame it's not automatic.
I'd like to see Addiesdive do a release of this with the NH34. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Esattamente sono infastidito dalla lancetta dei secondi che non marca perfettamente le indicazioni e dai 39 mm di diametro in luogo dei 42/43 che sarebbero stati giusti.
That's fair enough my friend, I appreciate that it can very annoying for some people, when the seconds hand doesn't hit the minute markers. There seems to be a trend for 39mm watches at the moment ... and there are very few new watches that are bigger than 40mm. Thanks for watching
@@giancarloliucci4104 Grazie!
In general, I have no issue with quartz watches. But when I see a watch like this, the ticking second hand just takes away from it. Not my cup tea I'm afraid.
That's fair enough Alex. It's a pity there's not a GMT/date version of the VH31, it would have been ideal in this watch. Thanks for watching mate 👍👍
47 dollars right now!
Great price!!
Second review of this watch that I have seen with issues .. could be a good deal (I have one Addiesdive and two Steeldive different model watches without issues) but I would wait until they resolve these QC issues - and I have seen reviews that they have done so.
They weren't deal-breakers for me and I'm keeping this watch for the foreseeable future but I appreciate everyone has their own red lines. Thanks for watching 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch oh don't get me wrong definitely not off on the brands ... I've just come to realize that when these things happen many of the better Aliexpress brands quickly come out with a V2 or V3 to rectify the issues people raise.
@@Emmepi37... to be fair Seiko is notorious for their misaligned bezels, I've also seen other brands have these QC issues (including Rolex on JOMW). The better more responsive Aliexpress brands quickly rectifying any issues, listening to reviewers and often coming quickly out with a V2 or even V3.
@@karlsenula9495 Absolutely Karl, I think people are wary that V2, 3 and 4 etc might happen. I didn't know why these brands don't send prototypes to reviewers before launching a new product
@@TimeForAnotherWatch agree ... wish they would take their time before releasing items and slow down production to improve QC ... now that said it could result on higher prices on Aliexpress and as of now these v2..3..4 are well know to happen and kind of expected. Kind of like the big brands offering the same watch in a variety of sizes ..
I.e. Why buy the 40mm Rolex or Tudor Black Bay when in a couple of years they may be a 39 or 36mm version. Both are Kind of expected at this point.
For the price definitely could be better but still a decent offering for the price
Thanks for watching 👍👍
Alpha , Parnis, Addiesdive, Sharky , Steeldive, Pagani ...... I tried them all. These all have one thing in common ..... their movements are crap and start developing faults in the long run. The main problem is that if you like me have many chinese automatic watches and change them often, you have to adjust them often.... these chinese movements cannot withstand frequent manipulation . I just got the quartz Addiesdive and I suspect it will last a bit longer.
The brands you mentioned there (except Alpha and maybe Parnis) rarely use Chinese movements. The mechanical movement predominantly used by these brands is the Seiko NH35. In my experience, this movement is accurate and reliable in the long run.
@@TimeForAnotherWatch I dont know , if they are genuine NH35 movements or clones, but they start behaving wierdly with time, like changing date and day while screwing in the crown for example. Dont mind it much as I can barely see it anyway with my 50+ eyesight Or Maybe I got a lemon.
@@joecachia2 If the movement was behaving like that, it sounds like you got a lemon, or maybe the crown stem had been cut to the wrong length ... although this would show up on receiving the watch, rather than months/years later.
Brand name and logo are the biggest turnoffs. Same goes for Steeldive.
Won't suit everyone, thanks for watching 👍👍
@@TimeForAnotherWatch thank you for the great content. Keep it going 👍
@@imsergio Thanks for your support 👍👍
The GMT misalignment would drive me crazy. I’ll pass on this one.
Might be just my watch and it's hardly noticeable in daily use but I appreciate what you're saying. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Pagani do sapphire for this price bracket shame Addis can't
That's true. Pagani Design tend to produce watches in much higher numbers, so maybe they benefit from economies of scale. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Thanks for the video. Honestly I don't need watches with GMT function in the first place. But to buy watches with the problem you described is completely not worth it especially since you can get mechanical watches for the same money. Yes they are not made by Seestern, Steeldive or Pagani design and use Miyota movement instead of Seiko but still are watches I'm happy with so far
LOL why is 'Deep Sea Hunter' one word? Chinese really make me laugh
They should have omitted it. Thanks for watching 👍👍
Quartz movement is not interesting to me.
