I went to Takinoyu, a hotel in Shosuke, Higashiyama Onsen, Fukushima Prefecture. Higashiyama Onsen is a hot spring with a history of about 1300 years. Shosuke no Yado Takinoyu is a long-established popular inn that has been in business for 130 years and is said to be the birthplace of Higashiyama Onsen. It has been selected as one of the 100 best Japanese inns and hotels by professionals. As the name Takinoyu suggests, Takimi's large communal bath and 6 private baths are wonderful hot spring inns.
This time, I stayed in a room called Yumesoan Special Room. It is a room that seems to have the best view even in Takinoyu.
In this video, we will introduce the outline of Takinoyu, the room of Yumesoan special room, all private baths and large communal baths, dinner in the room and breakfast of half buffet. Finally, we also introduce the tourist spot, Tsuruga Castle (Aizuwakamatsu Castle).

会津東山温泉で、どこに宿泊するか迷っていましたが

貸切露天風呂付きのプランだったので、十六夜の湯も合わせて予約です。

露天風呂からの景色の迫力は福島が一番かもしれませんね。
おっしゃるとおりで、川が見える温泉宿はたくさんありますが、滝がこれほど間近で見える温泉はそうは無いと思います。
そういった意味で東山温泉はかなり貴重な温泉ですね^^

この宿コロナ前に一泊２食５５００円で泊ったよ。宿入ったらお茶と羊羹出てきて、ロビーには酒が置きっぱなしで、風呂場にはソフトクリームとビールが合って、風呂に入ったらお舟にお酒が浮いてていい時代だったなあ。
