In today's video, I get to discover why the Lexus LC500 is a car that gets looked over, a car in many respects is far more charismatic than the sum of it's parts.
This one was kindly lent to me by Fairmont and Classics which specialises in selling new or classic exciting pieces of cars.

More vids this week!
Really wish some sort of car series would take this man on. Vidoes are so good and down to earth with the audience. Another great video Sideways Sid.
Thanks mum.
It sounds like an American Muscle car 😍😍😍. Much more striking to look at than BMWs, Audi's and Mercs at same price.
Like them in red.
Fantastic video Sid, thanks for visiting us. The Lexus LC500 is now sold, but we have cars coming in weekly for anyone who's interested. Thanks.
This and the LFA are definitely my favourite Lexus models by a long shot 😃🤩
I agree
Nice little review there. If you hear one in the flesh, you'll notice that (when on it), the LC500 barks. It's not rumbly like an AMG. It's an exotic noise. It's also a sharp car to drive - especially if you get the Sport +. Yellow does it no favours
I think these are one of the Best looking cars on the road, from all angles, and a lovely interior, lexus quality and reliability, sounds great and good performance, would get one if I could afford lt lol
Excellent review and thank you for giving this underdog the moment of limelight!
These things are stunning in person. Perfect GT car.
LEXUS 👌😎👍 THE FIRST CLASS QUALITY
LEXUS LC ❤👍 THE FIRST CLASS EMOTIONS
Saw a yellow one in London too, stunningly exquisite and exotic. Like a fine crafted Japanese sword.
I have one...and you forgot to mention the rear wheel steering....makes cornering a joy for a big GT car
Really enjoyed this review. Thanks.
Another great video Mr North. Looking forward to more content ! 🎉
I am the proud owner of a ‘23 LC500 Convertible. The us stunning, inside and out. Fit and finish is superb as is the interior, like sitting in a leather cocoon. Exterior design is just beautiful along with the engine note. Find one, drive one and you will buy one.🏖️
These cars are stunning, very different and unique
Nice review, i'm glad that after all these years you've managed to sort your microphone out. I was a bit worried at the beginning!🎉😂❤
This yellow looks phucking great no matter in dark or under light. Insane colour 🔥
This car is insanely underrated.
Now sold
They are a work of art, look like a gorgeous sculpture in real life.
I love the LC, I have the hybrid LC and its fantastic
I will have one some day, convertible of course.
👍 good call
What is the watch you are wearing in the video ?
the current ones are much improved with better infotainment etc
Car sounds great.
Like the car... Like the review. 👍
finally ! 😍😎
These are great well built cars 🎉
Sid get Ricky behind the wheel of one
Is that the sane yamaha V8 that's In the volvo xc90?
no and it's a lot better
No, it's the same V8 that's in the IS-F, RC-F, GS-F and IS500. 2UR-GSE.
@@RK1FX In what way (engineering wise) is it better?
Both use Yamaha designed heads of course.
They have remarkable similar specs both being predominantly aluminium. Open deck.
The volvo is 60deg but has a 90deg firing order.
Although slightly older the B8444S is a fraction lighter (192kg vs approx 222kg dry despite use of mag) and capable in road car form more power as evidenced by the Noble spec.. The UR counters this by having DI on certain specs. Though it seems only available in Supercharged form rather than turbocharged, in production road applications at least.
Both engines are not bad, the UR has more power in terms of naturally aspirated but at the end of the day its opendeck, its fundamentally never going to deliver monster power, its fairly light, thats about it. It sounds good though. The B8444S is a smaller , lighter more compact package. Arguably the best v8 that yamaha developed is not on of these two but the SHO closed deck engine from the 90s.
But please in your words explain why the Toyota engine is "a lot" better.
No it's not the same V8.
The V8 in the Volvo XC90 was a 4.4 L, the V8 in the Lexus is a 5.0L
I would prefer this car to stay underrated and hidden, so I can actually afford one in a couple years lol. I don't want this to become 100k plus on the used market especially for 2018-2019 model years.
My Dream car .
It's going to be my next car.
LC500 - the Japanese E92 M3?
bigger
Did I hear him say the LFA was dull, I think im hearing things...
I never said that! Did I?
But......will it do a skid?
Not really. Surprisingly they understeer more than oversteer when pushed due to that 5l lump.
Hi sideways sid
“SID NORTH”!
@@SidNorth ha ha ha sorry couldn't help myself

NAAAA!
"Promo SM" 😒
No attention because no manual.
Confused, how can he say it's a good car when he said the steering is dead with no feel, that's not a good drivers car then ? yes amazing sound track with that v8 but that's it if no feel in it.
Lots of cars don’t have steering feel
Lots of good cars at that matter
news flash all steering feels are dead after 2010
@@SidNorth It's Shocking but lamentably true.
Best car I’ve ever owned . I just picked up a 2024
