Thank you for such an easy to understand tutorial! I remember when this mod first released and you could only use it in live mode and had to type in the coordinates manually etc. I tried it once and never touched it again! I can’t believe how far it’s come and how easy it looks to use now. I’ve been avoiding it for years lol!

This was awesome! Thanks for making it so easy to understand. I used T.O.O.L. for the first time to add picnic tables, a grill, a cooler, and a water balloon bucket in the grassy area behind the apartments in San Myshuno's Spice District. This is so cool!

Thank you for creating a tool update tutorial. I'm a complete noob with this mod. You and a couple other simmers have been so helpful learning how to take on this intimidating task. with all that being said I did learn how to create a lot of neat things without tool at least lol. I'm very interested in becoming a youtuber and have a lot of homework to do on that subject as well. I currently have a regular HP laptop that I've been playing the sims 4 on. I do have a 2TB external Hard drive and one drive. I think that's the only way I've managed to buy and download just about every pack except a few that I didn't care for. so with that said I'm not sure if my laptop could handle me trying to youtube.

Resizing rugs and objects to 0.8 is my favorite thing to do.
Also love lowering some of the mirrors that sit too high on the walls.

TOOL Build Mode Quick-Start
Better BuildBuy must also be installed.
The usage is the same as regular TOOL, except you will automatically be placed in TOOL mode any time the TOOL dialog is open.
Toggle TOOL in build mode by pressing Shift+T
In addition, shift+clicking surfaces will automatically place a group box marker. This can be used in combination with the Toggle Group button to highlight many objects at once.
When the TOOL extension is open, ctrl+z and ctrl+y will handle the TOOL undo/redo instead of the buildbuy undo/redo. Buildbuy undo still works when TOOL is closed.
TOOL Live Mode Quick-Start
No other mods are required.
Need to enter testingcheats true or you can optionally force it always on using my AlwaysTesting mod.
Shift+click objects for TOOL menu
Shift+click surfaces for TOOL options menus.

I had no idea I could move things in build\buy. I’ve been going in live mode and moving things by shift clicking them and putting in decimals. I desperately needed this 😅

What are you using to change the look of the grass and sidewalk
Does the TOOL mod work with Mac? I keep downloading the mod but can't open it in game/build when I play
I can not manage to get the items to rotate in game without tool. I click alt and try to rotate and pull the mouse while the item is engaged and nothing happens.
Every time I add the BBB mod it messes with the UI menu on the right upper corner. Any advice?

The shell buildings are live objects. You can find them by enabling them using better build buy ❤

Okay the object turns green but NO tool extension menu pops up. I can only do the options in the tool menu but no tool extension menu. What am I doing seriously wrong here?

It’s not working! I downloaded both tool and build but moved folders >EA>SIMS4>Mods. When I open the game It’ll show the mods, everything is on and restarted. I start the game, testing cheats enabled, shift T/shift click and nothing comes up.
I even redownload the update from twisted and re did the steps and nothings working. What am I doing wrong?

Wait....is it really called live mode? Like how you would say "living room"? I always thought it was live mode like who you would say "alive''?!
I've always thought the same thing. It's so weird to me when people say live mode (like living room) . I've always said live (like alive).

You said nothing about one needs to have the testing cheats activated. You went straight to Shift +T to open.🙄
She told you to read the mod page's instructions-which clearly state that you need testingcheats enabled. Read. The. Documentation.
