Another great job guys AND another great hike that we have always enjoyed. The beauty near the trailhead, on the trail, and at each of the falls calls us back again. Thanks for sharing!

The only tough part was finding parking! Since the shuttles weren't running this year, we waited 30 minutes for a spot by the trailhead. And competition was fierce! But we were so happy we still had time to enjoy the hike. I still can't believe that some of our shots were real! The beauty is simply breathtaking. Thanks for watching, Jonathan :)

Can you get lost on this trail? Also I heard various lengths of this trail. Round trip what is the mileage and difficulty?

Hi, Jen! This trail is very popular and I believe it would be hard to get lost. The various lengths you have heard probably have to do with where you start the trail (either the St. Mary Falls shuttle stop or the St. Mary Falls parking lot) and how far you walk the trail. Many people only walk to St. Mary Falls and then turn back. But if you want to see Virginia Falls, you have to continue past St. Mary Falls, past a few more pretty waterfalls and then you will know when you get to Virginia Falls. It's very tall and you can view it from two different points. One more thing to point out is that the trail does technically continue past Virginia Falls along Saint Mary Lake quite a distance but if all you want are the waterfalls, just stop and turn around after Virginia Falls. We started at the St. Mary Falls parking lot, walked to Virginia Falls and then walked back and our roundtrip hike was about 4.2 miles. Hopefully this helps. Google maps will also show the trail and the two waterfalls! Thanks for watching, Jen!

Love the video. I'm visiting Glacier next week and definitely checking out this waterfall trail. Is there parking near the St. Mary trailhead or what is best access to trailhead?

Hi, Patrick! Thanks for watching :) There are two places you can access the trail to St. Mary Falls and Virginia Falls - either the parking lot at the St. Mary Falls trailhead or the St. Mary Falls Shuttle Stop. Parking at the St. Mary Falls trailhead is very limited and fills up quickly. We had to wait 30 minutes for someone to leave and we weren't the only ones waiting. If you park at the trailhead and start the hike there versus using the shuttle and starting the trail at the shuttle stop, you'll add about 2/3 mile total to your hike. I hope this helps!
