Say what you want about AJ, he made a smart play. He didn't know if the catch was made or not, so he ran.
This is the worst call in the history of MLB. Nothing smart about swinging at a 3 2 dirtball
Should have just kept running since the angles were coming off the field
sure looked like the home plate umpire signaled first base as in throw it to first base because he did the same signal again once Aj got to first.
The home plate ump signaled that he swung (arm out), then called him out (fist pump).
Angels got robbed... never forget this moment... as an ANGELS FAN... watching this still makes me cringe in disgust!
