Sentiment analysis is a sub-domain of Artificial Intelligence. It tries to extract the sentiment of a user using this technique and it helps the businesses to identify customer sentiments toward products, brands, or services in online feedback.
A large amount of data that is generated today is unstructured, which requires processing to generate insights. Some examples of unstructured data are news articles, posts on social media, and search history. The process of analyzing natural language and making sense of it falls under the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). Sentiment analysis is a common NLP task, which involves classifying texts or parts of texts into a pre-defined sentiment
Sentiment analysis also refers to the process of determining whether a given piece of text is positive or negative. In some variations, we consider “neutral” as a third option. Hi! I liked your video. I have some questions:
- What are strategies to gather data from different devices? I mean, let's say the company has an app for celphones and hasa an website. Ho to gather sentiment in the website? How we now that the user is sad, or happy at some moment that he hovers the mouse in certain section of the site? And how is the approach in the cellphone? Can we take inputs like voice (to run some analysis and find it) or maybe video? I am tottaly unsure.
