Hi! Great video, as usual :) Thx for your awesome tutorials. One suggestion: Could you create Tutorials with all simple task in gimp to understand the Basics? For example description of different tools and what we can do with, layer mecanism, etc... You have started this kind of explanation with 2 videos i think. A Lower level to explain + try to continue your "Gimp Basics" series would be great. I'm pretty sure that a lot of people could be interested. Thx to have read this comment. :)

Very helpful for me, a novice. Thank you very much. What would be extremely helpful is a brief explanation of the effects of a particular action. So, for example, if you tell us to click the gradient tool and make the mode overlay, why? What does that mean, in simple terms. Also, I run the videos on a laptop whilst using GIMP on my desktop. This means I have to keep pausing the video, which is fine, but it would be very helpful if you could go a little slower and separate each activity, so it is absolutely clear what one has to do before moving on to the next step, especially when you backtrack and change your mind about doing something in a particular way. Otherwise, I really appreciate your hard work putting these videos together.

Thanks for all your guides Nick, I started with your GIMP guides and now I've progressed to Inkscape. It really helps now that Grand Turisimo Sport allows you to upload Decals into the game as long as they are vector files in SVG format. However they have to be less than 15kb in size. This has caused me lots of fun with trying to make them smaller. I discovered OMGSVG and it has really helped. But any other advice on keeping SVG's small?

Hi Nick, thank you for making videos on GIMP. I have a suggestion, can you please make a video on how to make a tie dye effect on GIMP? It doesn't have to be rainbow colored. I found only two videos on tie dye in GIMP and they're not very good. Thanks again.

Awesome video Nick! 2 Quick questions: How can you do this with people's photos? I tried but the face gets distorted a little bit and it's hard to identify who the person is (in case you want to give a gift to some one else) & second question is how to keep the background white? If I would like to print it on a white canvas for example. Thanks in advance for your responses.
