So I have several other videos I am also working on, a complete VLOG of the entire wknd and a special one from the Tarantula Takeover show where I will also show my new additions. I thought that maybe this feeding video with Petko would be nice to hold you over. Sorry for the background noise and such, just not when or how I normally film but I wanted to do a feeding video :) Let me know what you think of these two perspectives/camera angles. I thought this would be a lot more difficult to do than it is, so I appreciate all the advice from Dark Den and him using his camera for the wide shots. I do have a DSLR I can use if you like this style. And of course, don’t want to forget thanking KCTarantulas for being a fabulous camera man. Hope you guys enjoy this and hang tight cos I’ve got more but still thinking of how it will all come together and need more time

It's really funny how Petko gets under Kat's skin a tiny bit while she sometimes can't stand but to bite back, it's like siblings meeting up after many years, I love this wholesome spider video.

crickets can be tough and hurt spiders sometimes!
@@PranksterGL25 crickets are dangerous to tarantulas that just molted and not eating. My friend lose his gecko because he just put 6 crickets straight away into the gecko enclosure. It turned out that the gecko was not hungry and gg. Next day, he found out that his gecko was killed.
With small, or freshly molted Ts crickets can hurt them. So it’s just a safety. Crickets are ruthless man.
No wonder they were cheap

Y’all look like the best of friends! I’ve just recently started watching both of your channels and they’re always so informative! I’m still iffy about having a Tarantula myself because my mom is arachnophobic so growing up with her and seeing the fear also made me fearful. But watching all y’all Petko, Exotics Lair, you, Tarantula Dan and some others makes my fearfulness become curiosity. However idk if I’d be able to feed them. I like watching them from behind the glass, but having them so close I feel like it would take some serious time to get used to. Trying not to be so closed minded! Good luck Kat and Petko!
I gotta say, your B vagans (or I guess T vagans now!) is my absolute favorite tarantula in your collection and always makes me smile whenever they show up in a video. They're the kinda T that's just crazy enough to be entertaining but not crazy enough to be scary like a OBT or a pokey, and it kinda makes me want to get one. XD

I was also really confused when you said geniculata and was like "ok I may not have as much experience as Kat but I know a Nhandu chromatus when I see one". Lol.
Also I don't know how Petko has never come across a flighty or aggressive B. vagans! My friend's vagans is insane. It's a pretty unpredictable species, but it's worth it for how gorgeous and velvety their legs can be!
