I read her mother write that she went to wicked at 9 and so inspired it changed her life - she then decided that would be her future! To see someone follow their dreams to fruition like that is truly magical !

Just got back from seeing this at the Gershwin and it completely changed my attitude about the theater from indifferent to just wow!!! It was the greatest performance of anything I’ve ever seen in my life and I’m 52 and have seen a fair bit.

I was originally going to watch Hadestown which I probably would’ve loved as well but I knew my mom wouldn’t understand or enjoy it as much but I am SO glad we watched Wicked, esp with Alyssa J Fox and Mackenzie Kurtz headlining! Best performance I’ve seen in years! I couldn’t stop my tears from both laughter and from being overwhelmed when they finally sang Defying Gravity😭😭🥰🥰
