That last "the" always triggers the sweat out of my eyes. There's sooooooo many emotions mixed with top-tier artistry, musicality, and skill. It's definitely one of the best renditions I've ever heard in my entire life.

I mean I knew she was gonna kill it but, um, wow. I actually loved how she sung some sections so straight just perfect, regal, resonant belts with tasteful embellishments, not overdone, not underdone, she made it so moving. Seems like the crowd was wowed, I hope more people will invite Jazmine into their lives. I don't know what I'd do without her.

I’m nothing like a Karen. I’m not saying she doesn’t have a PHENOMENAL voice. She does. I just think an anthem is just that. Meant to be sung in unison to the time it was first penned as it’s historical and resplendent and doesn’t need vocal callisthenics for it to hit home.
This girl will go far. She is beautiful and has a voice that should be on vinyl. That’s where runs belong. She could have just sung it the way it was penned and it would have been just as moving. That’s all I’m saying. Not taking anything away from her or her beautiful instrument.
