I have vestel tv (2018 model) doesnt have dolby atmos function,I have SAMSUNG Q990b sound bar and old pc gaming
My old pc gaming is connected to the Vestel tv and also I connect to SAMSUNG Q990B soundbar
I also downloaded dolby access on Microsoft store,I watch movies on my computer,I know google chrome doesnt have function for the dolby atmos .
when I choose dolby atmos on sound option (computer)I dont hear anything rear ,when I choose dolby atmos for headphones rear speaker works ,
But when I play demo trailers on dolby access program , I can hear the real sound ,rear speakers works ,
I heard google chrome dont support dolby atmos they say Netflix supports dolby atmos ,I dont have netflix,
my question is how can I really use that dolby atmos function when I watch movies on google ?
How I should hook up my sound bar ?İs it possible to hook up Pc to soundbar ?and how can I make it work?
I have my sound bar almost 2 years I couldnt be able to use it well

This solved my issue, i was wondering why my hdmi wasn't working i plugged it into my monitor, my pc's motherboard, and my gpu to no avail. I do not understand why you would need a converter and i do not have one on hand or a 3.5mm jack. Tbh hdmi doesn't make any sense at that point why not just straight up use the 3.5 😂

Not helpful, the video assumes your PC doesn't have an optical out port on it. And nothing about what to setup in Windows which is what I was wanting.

Tried using the optical drive converter. My pc detects the speaker but no audio is coming out. Please help

What about connecting PC to a soundbar like Sonos beam (gen 2) for supporting Atmos? For now I have symfonisk speakers so I was thinking about adding beam but I play everything from my computer instead of TV.

When we connect Aux to optical to Soundbar (Through ADC) so how it's possible to get good quality sound from soundbar....?
(Because Analog carry only 2 signal from audio source)

What about usb port of soundbar?
As far as I know, USB is not made for transmitting audio.
I got the converter i have done what is suggested to connect my jbl soundbar from my PC over optical but still no sound
may you please read the name on the converter?
1. if realtek soundcard has optical audio out port, can it using into soundbar 5.1 with optical cable ??
2. also, can win 10 recognize 5.1 soundbar surround souns, automatically with that optical cable ??
If you use the 3 output jacks of I/O motherboard with a 7.1 audio system and configure it using Realtek, will work, I think the same goes for 5.1. Remember that the red jack (mic) also works for audio, you just gotta configure it.

I wanna ask a ? What is the purpose of having a sound bar when its gonna be attached to a horrible 2-channel fedility laptop? I fell into this trap, now i've learned to buy the blue sound bar that can make the connects & sound good.

My RTX4090 has a hdmi 2.0 output I believe, can that be used to connect to sound bars? Since the use of HDMI is required for Dolby Access
my pc tower thinks my soundbar is a second screen when i pulg it through the hdmi port how do i change that.
This is normal btw. I had the same thing with my LG bluray player. I just made the screen resolution as small as possible for performance reasons and just carried on.
When I connect my soundbar to my pc with 3.5 jack I don't get surround sound, all the sound, even if it s from left or right comes out from all the speakers inside. I only get surround if I connect it via bluetooth. Any idea why?
Hi al, well 3.5 only carries left and right audio - which is only two audio channels. czcams.com/video/zA18_bS9Z7k/video.html - the cables that can carry 5 channels, are coaxial digital, optical and hdmi.
@@SimpleCafeE yep the problem is that I hear everything at once. I don t hear sound from left or right speaker(ex: if I get a sound from the left I hear it both left and right)
@@al98708 You probably have to look into your system sound settings, or Realtek Audio Console (which most modern PCs have built in), and just look for stereo/mono settings. Make sure you have selected stereo mode, not mono mode.
