- In this video I give 3 tips to riding switch on freeskates. Learning to ride switch on free skates can be difficult at first, but hopefully this 3 tips will teach you to ride switch quickly.

Hope this tutorial helps you out with riding switch! Which tutorial would you like to see next?? 🤔
I've been using the chain fences of a tennis court to maintain the ride switch using my arms to move laterally. It's a long process, but you can learn other tricks at the tennis court too instead of just focusing on ride switch. Maybe fit in a Tokyo every so often.
i have my free Skates since one week and I'm able to ride a little bit down the hill but I'm now going for the switch
Good idea using the quarter pipes for that bit of extra momentum. One other good thing might have been to tell viewers what "riding switch" means in the first place ;)
@Seth Duchemin riding in the other way ^^
great tipps! thanks!
Would practicing switch on a waveboard or ripstick help with being comfortable in the switch stance before moving onto freeskates? I am incredibly uncomfortable standing switch, even on a skateboard.
I’m goofy so idk how u guys all do it😂
I just start 2 learn
I can't even go straight when switch. I'm still a beginner freeskater and wanted to learn 180s but was thinking if I learn switch 1st then it would make it easy to do 180s.
I'm using a ripstick to ride switch, just to understand the mechanics of the switch stance before I do it on Freeskates
can you do a review of the knockoffs (the twolions) and compare them please thanks
Unfortunately I no longer have those knockoffs... I'll just be super quick and tell you the JMK's are 100% worth it, without a question. Everything else is just cheaply built in comparison
how does it stay on?!
I bascially quit a few years ago because learnign switch demotivated me but I am not thinking about picking up Freeline Skates again
You should try it again you dont have to ride switch there are tricks that dont you it also its good to have a challenge dont give up
Did you pick up freeline skates again ?
riding switch = my brain turning off
hahaha I relate to this. It's so frustrating at first
