  • I'm in the streets of Toronto asking parents a simple question: if their child picked up a book with representations of gay marriage, would they let them read it?

Daniel dude, why not embrace a religion of real unconditional love that is about the noble work of liberating all beings from suffering? It was just another story to us. So how come a bunch of 6-7 year old kids can except and understand something adults cant? I know that everyone reacted nicely and liked the idea but in everyday life people don't. This was amazing

Gay marriage isn't that important, but their arguments are interesting
and many times annoying and make me wana question them. So many
fallacies. You question it, they question why you question something
that "doesn't effect you" and they make personal attacks and fail to see
how their own "logic" may lead to unintended consequences.
If you can remove 1 requirement (Where marriage used to require 2 people of the opposite sex) than the case can be used as a precedent to remove other requirements for marriage. Here is a transcript from the gay marriage supreme court case:
"Alito raises yet another potential human pairing, that of unmarried siblings, asking if a state could bar them from marrying:
ALITO: [L]et’s think about two groups of two people. The first is
the same-sex couple who have been together for 25 years, and they get
married either as a result of a change in State law or as a result of a
Court decision. The second two people are unmarried siblings. They’ve
lived together for 25 years. Their financial relationship is the same as
the - the same-sex couple. They share household expenses and household
chores in the same way. They care for each other in the same way. Is
there any reason why the law should treat the two groups differently?
BONAUTO: Well, I’m not sure that the law would - the - the law
allows 100 percent of heterosexual people to enter into a marriage
that’s consistent with their sexual orientation, and in these States, it
forbids 100 percent of gay and lesbian people from entering into a
marriage that’s consistent with their sexual orientation -
ALITO: Well, as far as -
VERRILLI: - and justifies that difference.
ALITO: As far as the - the benefits that federal law confers on married people, such as in Windsor, the effect on estate taxes, what would be the reason for treating those two groups differently?
VERRILLI: Well, I - I - I’m not entirely sure there would be, but,
of course, marriage is something more fundamental than that. It is an
      enduring bond between two people."

Phoenix Because you obviously dont know what I am talking about....There is a new movement of pedophiles who want to be accepted as being "born this way." What I am saying is simply because you claim to be born liking the same sex DOES NOT mean it should be accepted but treated. First, homosexuals. Then people who say, "gee, I feel like I am not a man, but a woman", let me dress up like one and take these hornone shots, and viola..I am a woman a s should be able to go to the bathroom with women and men should date me like I am and I should have legal rights like a woman." It reeks of sickness and just because the powers that be want it, they have convinced you and people like you to ACCEPT ANYTHING THEY TELL YOU TO ACCEPT. Its sick. NEXT, pedophiles or next " I was born a dog" The people in power want it, then they start a campaign to brainwash you into accepting it.

    • @mate95mraz
      @mate95mraz Před 6 lety +1

Every frigging country has an age of consent which is why the legalization of pedophilia is not going to happen. Comparing a consensual same-sex relationship to pedophilia, murder or whatever you homophobes can come up with is realllllly getting old. Aren't you people bored of these same old threads over and over again?
"What I am saying is simply because you claim to be born liking the same sex DOES NOT mean it should be accepted but treated" What should be treated??? Why should attraction and romantic feelings be "cured"?! People are NOT sick for liking their own gender. Get a life

I think you are disgusting. It's much worse to teach kids that it's wrong to have feelings for someone of the same sex. Many teenagers experience self-hatred and may even commit suicide because of this bigotted attitude. Supporters of heteronormativity are the true monsters.

Children don't understand the concept of judging people for their sexuality, religion, or race. It is us adults that teach them to judge and look at the most simplest, purest things in critical ways. We NEED to change this and this book is one of the ways!!!

Gay marriage isn't that important, but their arguments are interesting
and many times annoying and make me wana question them. So many
fallacies. You question it, they question why you question something
that "doesn't effect you" and they make personal attacks and fail to see
how their own "logic" may lead to unintended consequences.
We can't force people to think (if) they are in fact born with a sexual desire, that they have to act on it. EVERYBODY should control their desires. there are straights who go celibate their entire lives.
If you can remove 1 requirement (Where marriage used to require 2 people of the opposite sex) than the case can be used as a precedent to remove other requirements for marriage. Here is a transcript from the gay marriage case:

Dumbbells Only maybe because it’s a bad thing to let other people tell your kids about what their beliefs should be. It’s common now to go walking down the street and see a gay couple, so you don’t want your child to learn it’s wrong. Oh sorry wait, YOU do. It’s obvious you’re a person against equality, you don’t like people for doing something that doesn’t hurt you or affect you, and it’s terrible to tell a person they can’t love someone that they do. You are homophobic and it’s clear you’re trying to cover it up. I’m not attacking you, I’m helping people to get equal rights you try to deny them.

That's such a great idea. I think it's REALLY important to teach children at a young age that there is more out there and that it's totally normal that there can be a prince+princess, prince+prince, princess+princess or whatever combination. It's not black&white anymore. If parents would tell their kids that it's ok if someone is gay it would be so much easier for children/teens to come out and don't have to worry about others because everyone would have been taught the same.

You have the freedom to follow your religion and it's beliefs, you do not get to put your beliefs onto others. Your religion can dictate you not us. If you don't "believe" in gay marriage, then don't get gay married. Don't like gay books, don't read them. I think your god would dislike you more for your hatred against someone else's love then he would against gays.
