Reality is the Elders were the ones filming this week, so once we saw an overwhelming amount of you suggesting it, the Elders were the ones to do it with to cover it as fast as we could for you all. Doesn't mean we won't do it with another generation if there is want of it over time! Also, Elders can give us all a interesting perspective on this type of short since it would not even be possible earlier in their lifetime, and that is a compelling reaction and conversation to watch. Seeing women cry because they react so empathetically to others feelings is so heartwarming
i remember watching this a couple years back. my parents checked my search history and when they saw this they freaked out. i felt guilty and decided to forget about all this. now after 2 years i finally realized my feelings and im no longer neglecting them. this short fil was so important to me and it still is. (I'm a wlw btw i just liked this because it made me feel good about liking the same gender.

I learnt about it from my favorite two tv shows, Glee and Modern Family and I didn't question it at all, it was just normal to me, where as I feel like if my parents sat me down for a conversation about it I'd feel very awkward and bored, because no kid likes sitting through a long talk with their parents.

I found out when I was 11 thankfully my mom is in the lgbtq+ and accepting, but that’s it I told everyone later on since I was a bit scared of their reaction
Most parents don’t want their kids knowing that because at a young age, sexuality can be extremely confusing, especially because your brain is still maturing. Which is why you see a lot of parents saying “it’s just a phase” to their 5-12 yr old.
