That's nice, Carl. Great catch on that flying piece, too. I'm guessing there wasn't any walnut in that Spectraply since Robin was there with you.

I would like to make a box with the rings. I know I can get the rings from you, but can I get the Spectraply in the northwest?

Yes we still sell the original rings.
What is that awesome chuck you are using ?
Easy Wood Tools Easy Chuck. A bit more expensive than many, but they are indeed awesome! I have the chuck, and also all of the jaw sets, and I plan on buying another Easy Chuck.
