Filming Jeremy Clarkson at his farm | BTS VLOG

- A few days ago Mike Fernie and I headed to Jeremy Clarkson's farm for a catchup and to see what he's done with the place. The last time I was there was just before lockdown started in the UK and it's safe to say it looks and feels like a completely different place.
While we were there we filmed a couple of videos, one of which is already up on DriveTribe (linked below), and the other is coming to FoodTribe very soon. In the meantime, I thought I'd give you a little sneak peek to what the day was like.

The (un)glamorous world of on location shooting! I’m convinced most people think it’s fun and games, but it’s really hard work, and can get out of control. Kudos Lucy ! Don’t give up !
Problem is people don't think about when shit happens on a farm like July/August when it's dry those are the perfect moments to get all those produce of the land.
yep, i'm a indie film maker and shooting on location is the hardest part tbh.
'fun and games' is one thing. But we all love what we do.

Nice job Lucy! Damn Clarkson lives far! People never realize how much effort and time it takes to show excellent content. Worst part is you've spent the day and you probably got about 12-15min's of actual footage. Unbelievable. Patience of a saint!

Takes me back to the days when I was a lens pointer with a BVP7, a Sachtler tripod and a box of red heads. You've got so much more choice these days with gymbals, drones, portable reflectors and those wonderful sim cards. But from what I can see, that's about the only changes. Its still a long time consuming toil. Do I miss it? No. But I do miss the people. Cheers to you Lucy.

Cool film! I've done two roadtrips down to the farm shop :) in a 160,000 mile diesel citroen c1, so v jealous of your mini!!! Nice job on the de-chroming too.

I am so jealous you get to work with Jeremy Clarkson. I have been watching him on tv for 12 years he's amazing. He and top gear inspired me become a videographer/ editor.

Jeremy isn't exactly know for manual labor. But the fact his made a farm work so well and brought so much to the farming field

Great insight in what goes on behind the scenes. I would hate it having to wait around until conditions were right to film such as the right light and no background noise as I hate standing around and not doing anything.
I do have a suggestion and that is the crew get into the habit of packing themselves enough food to get them through such a long day. It really doesn't take long to do so and a small ice box with an ice brick will keep a lunch cold all day long.

Not sure what brought me to these, second video I watched and I find it entertaining greatly... no flash, no script, but interesting and very professional... but what do I know, I'm just a middle aged Canadian who enjoys anything Jezza, as he is opinionated and probably as annoying as I am to work with or for. Either way I have greatly enjoyed these videos,
