I have such respect for what you are doing! Figuring out being a mother whilst working a new job with a new team in a new city in a new role! And studying something else on top of that! Huge admiration for what you are doing đ btw: could you imagine doing a video in the future explaining what you are doing career-wise at the moment? like your MBA and fellowship and stuff. I'd be curious to know!

LOOK AT THAT HAIR!!!! Ahhhh what a sweetie! I'm about to go back to work too and I'm super nervous about it! I feel like I'm rusty on my skills and also leaving our son is scary! Luckily we found a wonderful Nanny so I'm relieved as far as childcare goes. My husband is active duty military so I have to be the main caregiver!

I just wanted you to know that you are not alone.
I also had to go back to work 3 months after having my son, to a new job, a new position, in a new country (!) which I do not speak the language of, whilst also studying for my Master's degree. My son is a terrible sleeper so I still wake up 4-5 times each night. Also, the environment at my new job is unfortunately hostile towards mothers. Almost all women there are career women and you are automatically considered as less dedicated if you have chosen to have a family. I was not even given a space to pump. But despite all that, I have survived and I am still surviving and feeling stronger and more confident in myself every day.
If you are struggling my tip is to lean as much as you can on your husband. You guys are a team and this bond is invaluable. Let him know how you feel, discuss any difficulties you are facing at work with him, communicate what is helpful to you and what is not, let him know if you need some time alone, away from the baby (always without feeling guilty of course) etc.
You might not be able to see it in the moment, but what you have in your hands is the biggest opportunity you will probably ever get to grow as a person.
