  • I hope you enjoyed this little project. It took much longer to accomplish the content of the video than the video itself. So if you are thinking about getting into Hearthstone now and feel behind, I hope this video shows that it is never too late. You can learn the game and reach legend without dropping any cash. I hope to see you in stream and take care.
    Don't forget to like and subscribe if you enjoyed the video!

    Congrats on this video. In my opinion you proved your point🎉
    I reached legend myself this season and as a f2p. I am a veteran player and i spent around 100 bucks on my acc but that was back in the day, years ago when i was still young and stupid and basically i destroyed my collection multiple times (i built a deck, afterthat i got bored, destroyed my *new* built deck and built another and so on and so on.
    Now i am trying to resurrect my account and i have only 3 decks, but that s enough for the time being.
    What i recomand for f2p players if they want to prosper in hearthstone:
    1- be consistent. If you’ll play this game for years, i guarantee you’ll have a huge collection
    2-be patient. I know you ll be bored id you ll play one or two decks but that’s the life of a f2p at the beginning. Just think before diss something.
    3- chose between 3-6 classes you know you’ll play and then diss the rest, always keep all classes cards as the last resort (i for example am trying to keep only warr, rouge, dh, mage, priest, warlock)
    4- if you mass diss a class (paladin for example) and next expansion arrives a pretty solid and cheap paladin deck, don’t build it, even if its cheap because thats how you ll waste your resources. (If you decided to mass diss a class, build smth kn that class later on (month or years later) after you reached a pretty solid colection.
    All of those points i made were my mistakes that ruined my account, it sucked.
    And i also have a great exemple to prove my point: my gf is a totally f2p player, she had patience, she chose like 3 classes to play with and she barely diss something, only when needed and she has more then double my collection and currently she is sitting on 10k dust.
    So in conclusion
    Be consistent be patient be decisive be smart

      Thanks dude! I am glad we think the same🫡
      And one more thing for the beginners, legend is not everything. It’s nice to enter legend at least once for that cardback but if you can finish in diamond 5 every month, it’s just perfect✌️

    I've been free to play for the last 3 or 4 years and have gotten to legend pretty consistently. I do find myself needing to be efficient with the xp and rewards, which can be a hassle, but I am still able to build at least half of the meta decks each expansion. I'd say the most important thing is to play the way that gives you the most joy! This is just a game after all.

      Awesome to hear! That's exactly what I hope this video shows. Some people I've come across have asked me if it costs a lot of money to be good at the game, so I hope this shows you can be competitive for free.

    While you don't need to spend money to hit legend, you definitely need to invest time *or* money to build a collection. For example, doing a year's worth of Tavern Brawls is equivalent to spending $50+ on packs.

      @smky04  Před 2 měsíci

      Yup I say that in the video actually. Definitely pay to collect or have all the decks.

      thats logic tho, like imagine getting a full collection without money. how do you expect them to make money? threw portraits?

    • @smky04
      @smky04  Před 2 měsíci

      @ValentineIsHere yup they gotta make something off of the game. I just wanted to make the video to prove that you can make a competitive deck and play amongst the highest ranked players without spending money.

    SPOILER
    Nothing just skill issue.(Not for our ytber of course...)
    Creating new acc in 2024 is the best thing you can do if you really want to enjoy hs now, i did it by myself even when i have 6+ year acc cuz i just like to try from the bottom + new apprentice battlepass is broken and free decks are really good+ catch-up packs are holy gloriouss

    i mean maybe this is not the best situation to prove your point (even if its true) cause of shopper dh being super cheap and like 70% winrate, playable by blind and deaf monkeys without arms.

    • @smky04
      @smky04  Před 2 měsíci +1

      Yup. In my ten years of playing the game though there's always been an aggro deck that is very strong. Aggro is just the way to go for grinding to legend if you're free to play in my opinion.

      @@smky04 would be nice if blizzard could somehow for one time not make the:
      Easiest to play
      Cheapest to build
      Aggro bonobo Decks the by far best with 0 counterplay (cool play highlander warrior to have 53% winrate advantage but get completly destroyed by warlock and dk so no not a playable counter)

      @smky04  Před 2 měsíci

      @deinfakerfeikaaa3351 all decks will have their strengths and weaknesses. I'm not recommending aggro because they have the higher win rates only. In general they are cheaper on dust requirements. I hit legend every month with control decks pretty much. I personally find aggro boring. But being brand new account it would take too long to save up dust for control.
