And also, a much-needed wake-up call : If the American people (and much of the European populace too) keep buying into NASA's bogus space enterprises, this whole planet will collapse under the sheer weight of its population's gullibility.
I will be more blunt and solemnly declare that if humanity KEEPS BE-LIE-VING IN NASA (and their space travel fables) the human race will succumb under / or be wiped out by its own gullibility. Enough already, folks. We URGENTLY need to get this planet back on track - and NASA will have to be the 1st fake industry to fall. Next, the entire mainstream media industry needs to fall. Next, the entire pharmaceutical industry needs to fall. Next, the entire political industry needs to fall. And so forth and so on. Let's regain control of our lives and destinies on this wonderful planet of ours - NOW ! And no, I'm not a dreamer. I'm a true fecking scientist.

It’s quite exciting being alive at a time when people still think that silly sellotape spaceship went to the moon.

Excellent. A tale that needed to told, some of my university professors are still clinging onto to this comical lie. I think they labour under the misapprehension that by proxy they were part of the generation that enabled this *technology to get us there. (*Now lost technology)
