im going to try to make one following your design. Im going to add a trap door in the back to add more wood or coals

That's exactly what I wanted to do but decided to just make it as simple as possible for the first one to see if the design worked. I also thought about cutting a large diameter hole in the rear aerated block and raising the legs on the table to 200mm. That way a BBQ chimney starter could be used for the fire (light the coals and slide the starter into position).
