Prior to the 1995 NFC wild card round game between the Detroit Lions and the Philadelphia Eagles at Veterans Stadium, Lions offensive tackle Lomas Brown guaranteed that the Lions would not only win the game, but that it would be over by the end of the 1st quarter. This guarantee backfired in spectacular fashion.
