I guess the creator was puzzled on how to appear them in an episode or a scene and how to name the floor masters and which power to give them. So he chose to drop the idea to introduce floor mastersđđ
âHe dropped the idea laterâ exactly itâs how tagashi has always written hunter hunter. Itâs why killua could morph his body, and use rather echo in the hunter exam arch without the knowledge of nen
Thats 100% what happened. When hunter hunter started it was originally going to be a generic tournament style shonen but togashi hated using the same formula as every other shonen so he did his own thing despite shueishas demands
Literally it would be worse if the floor masters have been introduced and then left behind, not developing the plot. So it was the best idea just not touch in hat. ALSO, when Killua and Gon had their registration done in the 200 flor, they clearly looked unimpressed with all this and they told the audience that the focus was simply beat Hisoka and get out.
I assumed the âfloor masterâ portion was primarily to assist in having people live in heavens arena, which in the beginning Killua was dropped off by his father with nothing and he had to live and house himself there somehow, and so that was a way togashi showed how killua was able to sustain himself whilst he was still a child away from his family in a foreign land. I donât remember what the floor master role actually entailed, but Iâm sure he wrote himself into a corner including that and just decided to âforgetâ about it one day. Lol
Whenever i really get into a shounen anime i'll eventually make up an OC for the universe, and the guy i thought up for HxH was actually a Heaven's Arena fighter who would bow out whenever he got too high up (or if he saw someone dangerous like Hisoka coming) simply because he was just after the cash. This is a certified togashi moment
I bet you, Ging is a floor master
I guess the creator was puzzled on how to appear them in an episode or a scene and how to name the floor masters and which power to give them. So he chose to drop the idea to introduce floor mastersđđ
Pokkles death was also a let down. They could have gave him an epic death if they wanted him deadđ
âHe dropped the idea laterâ exactly itâs how tagashi has always written hunter hunter. Itâs why killua could morph his body, and use rather echo in the hunter exam arch without the knowledge of nen
Every time I think about this anime it shows how layered it was for it's time. So underrated
Thats 100% what happened. When hunter hunter started it was originally going to be a generic tournament style shonen but togashi hated using the same formula as every other shonen so he did his own thing despite shueishas demands
i actually thought that gon and killua are gonna fight eachother on the last floor lool
They will talk about them in the movie: the last mission where zushi is going to fight a floor master
It's like that Spongebob Karate episode
Somebody didnt pay attention i seeđđđ
Literally it would be worse if the floor masters have been introduced and then left behind, not developing the plot. So it was the best idea just not touch in hat. ALSO, when Killua and Gon had their registration done in the 200 flor, they clearly looked unimpressed with all this and they told the audience that the focus was simply beat Hisoka and get out.
Youâre exactly right. Heavenâs arena served its purpose, so the story moved on. It wouldâve been lame to stretch it out âjust because.â
the floor master where u can kill anyone including guests, referee, explosions, massacre
Togashi is unpredictable đ
Not even in the Manga? My man is reading Prey X Prey
Chrollo and Hisoka both were floor masters when they fought
The point of the whole arc is to teach gon and the audience about nen. The tower is a great background and set piece but nothing more
In the Manga it is revealed that Hisoka and Chrolla are indeed floor masters when they fight each other
We got chimera ants instead đ
That was my favorite arc and I wanted them to come back and clear it.
Lol
This arc is all about Killua's and Gon's Nen training, not the introduction of Floor Masters lmao
A random chimera ant would have probably clapped them anyways
Whenever i really get into a shounen anime i'll eventually make up an OC for the universe, and the guy i thought up for HxH was actually a Heaven's Arena fighter who would bow out whenever he got too high up (or if he saw someone dangerous like Hisoka coming) simply because he was just after the cash. My point being, i think it was a really cool idea i wish was explored more
