The truth is that we all experience resistance when we have an idea to try something new. And it’s not just something we struggle with at the beginning...
I’ve experienced periods of this struggle throughout my entire entrepreneurial journey - whenever I come up with a new idea or have a new dream to get to another level, that resistance creeps back in and gets in my way!
As entrepreneurs, we need to become masters of overcoming resistance, even when it feels like there’s no option but to stay stuck.
So in this episode, I wanted to share with you my 5 top tips for doing exactly this. These are the powerful strategies I always turn to whenever doubts, fears and worries flood my brain and cloud my willingness to keep pushing through.

Sorry I’m a male but still needed this message all the same. I grew up with a single mum on benefits and have known nothing but poverty and debt my whole life. I’ve worked and done well for myself but my dream was always to have my own business and work for my own money.
I started a few businesses but always backed out before actually immersing myself in it usually telling myself it wouldn’t work anyway or some other excuse. My self esteem has always been low so I have never fully believed any of my business ideas would work.
But I started my own recruitment agency, started getting some traction but once again when the ball starts rolling I get the fear and try to back out. Maybe a 9-5 is all I’m good for.
I came on CZcams and your video is what comes up and suddenly it all makes sense.
What I’m experiencing is extreme resistance and fear because of my limiting self beliefs. Thank you for this video. I may not believe in myself yet but I know the only thing holding me back is me and my fear of being judged.
I don’t even want the typical entrepreneurial life, I just want to provide for my kids.

Just by stumbling across you last week, I have managed to register my online business, make my logo, apply for trade registration with wholesalers.
The ideas are falling into my lap & I am just doing them. I nearly didn't start it because I thought..."someone's already doing it" but when you spoke about "your brand" and it doesn't matter that someone else is doing it..there's room for me too, I just started doing things..I am loving it. I get such a good feeling when I'm spending time creating my business. Thank you so much! I will pass on my website when I get it up & running. 😊🙏🙏

Carrie, I love your videos!! I have started building websites and deleted them because I would tell myself that it just wasn't good enough. My fear was creating this self-doubt because I have products that I would love to create and I am going to as soon as I get brave! My biggest fear is my age (59) and I think that the younger generation will think I am too old (silly huh!). I would also love to create videos for my products but there again, I fear my age on website and video!
My resistance is feeling I am not worth the money or to ask for it. And that people will not pay

It's tougher than I thought, facing and questioning my fears and limiting belifs (which are actually my deep-seated insecurities - am I smart enough, qualified enough, will people find me likable enough to buy from me...). Hi Carrie, loved this video of yours, you literally spoke how I exactly feel right now ✨💖. I've wanted to contribute my share of positivity to the world during this time.. And as we are approaching to the end of year, I really want to do this project/campaign of working on ourselves for ourselves and discovering a new talent or a new side of ourself and finishing the year strong.. what can be more rewarding than that? I have a basic plan of the idea but as exciting as it is, it's really terrifying and if I really want to do it, I have only a month to spread the word and it. What's holding me back is how to get started and go about it, who to contact. I'm so so glad I came across your channel. I'd love to hear from and get some advice. This feeling of wanting to do is truly magical though I have my self doubts I know trying it won't hurt✨

I want to nich down and find a business idea so bad, but all I have is "helping people starting a business".
It is so broad, everybody sais I need to nich down but it makes me feel empty to nich down.
My mission is to help people start a business and putbthemselves out into the world so they can live their best life and live in abundance and freedom.

Also Im a member of FEA and you mentioned that June youre going to teach how to start a business, correct?
Have you thought about which people you want to help ( think ideal client), what type of business would they start, what does their best life look like? How would they define abundance and freedom?
It's funny that you want to help others start a business when you can't start your own. Perhaps start doing the things you would have your clients do and see what happens. I don't mean this as a critique, rather as an encouragement. It's easy to give advice, but it's slightly more difficult to live by it yourself. Perhaps become your own customer.
