- Watch me create a small file cabinet for a client. It lives besides a small shelf i made last year so it must be the same size. I use a simple joinery techniques. The wheels are temporary, I had to order the matching wheels. I will change out later. This whole video was shot on the GoPro3 as an experiment and to get to know the camera better.

The best feature is the way you did the drawer "pulls." I'd open and close those drawers all day long just to touch them! Gorgeous.
After watching the video advert i was still skeptical. But when i finally downloaded the plans czcams.com/users/postUgkxZF0EMnrujZvqHhGkxiz559uIABJWR9TG i was very impressed. The whole plan was just as you said in the video. Thank you very much. I now have a large and valuable collection for my woodworks. This is great!
When I first watched your video jimmydiresta I was like 'eh, some guy making stuff..'. But after a while I realised how simple yet time consuming and entertaining your works are. Great job, you have my respect!
Thank you !!!
jimmydiresta You have an insane tallent dude. Love watching you make stuff. :D
Love this one so much, I've watched it several times. This is a big inspiration for a pair of file cabinets I am planning to make. I'm going to go gloss white cabinet with walnut drawers, I think.
The project and the video----Simple, functional, to the point, no narration, just action. Everything is explained and understood. Very Well done, Sir.
Another fantastic project Jimmy. My Grandma always said "You can't make a silk purse out of a sow's ear!" I'm thinking Jimmy can pull that off somehow being the Man.
hahah thank you !!
Mid century modern furniture is my favorite style of furniture. This has that level of style. I love the unique color of the walnut. It's very classy. I really like the joinery you used too. No specialized tools needed, just standard shop tools. A pleasure to watch you work as always.
All the way from the land of Oz, mate you are an absolute inspiration. I am sure you have heard it all before, but seriously brother. You give so many people the joy of creation. And that mate, is priceless.
dude you're videos are like crack.. I can't stop watching... you have a skill that many others wish they could just think that way.. I love working with wood as well. and I love to watch you work, I have learned much more just by watching. thank you..
Sir...you are an Artist & an Artisan of your craft. Thank you for allowing us a glimpse of your creative talent
I'm having a "-why didn't I think of that?"-moment. Very clever joint with the spline and long insert!
I've never seen this before and it will be a very strong joint, much stronger than biscuit. All done on the table-saw as well... I learned something new today! :)
Still a favorite. Just love the look of the rolling file cabinet and the whole desk set up for that matter.
Love the almost randomness of the hand pull relief on each drawer.
I love this project. This why he is so good at doing what he does. Just freehanding the openings on the drawers where most people would have measured it many times, and gotten it wrong. I like they way he used those internal splines on the joints. I have never seen that before. Thanks for a great vid!.
As usual a great build, and great timing as my friend has asked me to build him a couple of small file cabinets. Thanks Mr Diresta for giving me this great inspiration. Please keep up the great video's, I really have missed seeing you and John on the tube. Thanks again.
Wow, that walnut really popped with the Wipe-on Poly. Beautiful build.
saw you discovery channel. the things you make look so simple but if you look closely you can see how intricate and well made they are. you are a great artist sir!
That turned out very nice. I love the look of walnut. Very nice work Jimmy, thanks for sharing.
Absolutely beautiful piece, any man would love to have that in his office.

Beautiful build. One of my favorites so far. I really dig the free-form handles.
I could watch you work all day. Great video sir.
Truly a master craftsman!
Beautiful piece of furniture Jimmy. Matches its predecessor piece to a tee. As always an outstanding project.
Thanks, Jimmy! Lots of good joinery techniques in here.
Another beautiful piece. Inspiring as always. Thanks, Jimmy!
That walnut is absolutely gorgeous, I can see why you wanted to work with it.
Beautiful cabinet. I like the spline technique on the mitered corners. I always learn something new watching your videos.
This looks absolutely gorgeous! I wasn't sure about the asymetric, hand-drawn handles, until the very last shot with the 50's looking furniture : it looks perfect.
Thank you so much for the efforts you put in your videos, this is duly appreciated!
Just beautiful. Gorgeous and efficient work. I watch you to get inspired. Thanks for all of your videos.

Awesome piece Jimmy as usual!
Another winner Jimmy. Two videos this week, AWESOME!
Very nice, I am a carpenter and I must say you make it look so easy. I really like the mitre joints with the thin plywood spline instead of biscuits. Keep up the good work and keep making these video's.
cheers
Rich.
Beautiful, thank you Jimmy your skills are amazing
Great work, you're talented Jimmy..!!! LOVE
Another interesting project from jimmydiresta ... I really like the asymmetric curved drawer pulls. That is not something I would have thought of, and I love learning new techniques and ideas.
As well, I don't have a CNC, but the idea of carving out the channels for the front panel is really cool.
thanks!
Inspiring work as usual!! Nicely done!!

Your The Man!
And that's how you put timber together well done.
you're giving me so much inspiration ... big greeting from Montenegro,Europe..

Whew, you had me scared when you started to free hand the pulls! But I guess after watching so much of your work I should know better than to questions the master! Great work as usual. Very nice
I love a cabinet scraper. In no small part because there's only one other guy where I work who knows how to sharpen and use one. lol They are terrifically effective.
Thanks for another cool video, enjoyed it as usual.
Jimmy DiResta..... Amazing work!! Cheers from Argentina!!
Man, Jimmy. You have such good aesthetics.
My OCD went ape sh!t when you free-handed the drawer pull cut-outs but they turned out beautifully organic. Well done as always, sir.
I have been looking at making my own instead of buying. I like the random shape on the drawer front. Thanks for posting.
You are the man Jimmy!!!! Thanks for the skillshare 3 mos!!
