Cog Hill Farm
I loved the original Cog Hill Farm, but I never imagined how beautiful you could make Cog Hill 2.0! What an awesome homestead❤️❤️❤️
Agree❤😊
Agree for Sure But Little CHF was So Cute with All it's neat things about any where you would look. But The Animals at this one with the Plants Fruit Trees are just AWESOME!! I Love how the pond has added to the look and working No More Plastic Pools for Brooke to lift and fill. LOL Jason Yard Gardens are a Dream come true for him and he works so hard on them.. and it shows
What about the roses you picked up from the road side?
@@carolbaughman2412love how you plan, so beautiful
Jason - Your tour today was fabulous. I was so amazed that you remembered all of the plant varieties. I watch you all every day and your development of your farm shows the massive amount of work you all do. Standing ovation to all of you. You inspire me daily with projects in my own little yard.
I thought the same thing. He is so absorbent and knowledgeable in everything garden and it fascinates me.
Hi, Jason and Brooke ! I enjoyed Jason showing the tour how every thing has changed since you moved on your Cog Hill 40 , you have a beautiful Farm❤ I just love watching any you put on CZcams and Facebook plus I watch all Brooke’s to , makes my day ,
thing you put out to see on even I’m late seeing them some days !!🙏❤️
Fantastic I agree He seems so happy too
Amazing 👏
I couldn't agree more, Kim. Cog Hill is amazing how it's grown. Be watching with you tomorrow🌻🌻🌻
When you love the earth, she loves you back. ❤😊
She sure does!!!💚💙💚💙💚
Very, very true!❤️❤️❤️
Amen Hazel,amen! ❤
Can't believe what you all have done on your farm in such a short time. It is gorgeous! You should be proud
Jason out of these u tubers your channel is the best in my eyes, you not only show animals ,their care and gardening, learn so much from you!
Oh Jason! This was absolutely fantastic! The gardens on the side of the house are incredible! The fruit orchard! The vegetable gardens! Thank you so much for this detailed tour. You’re so kind to share your magical life with all of us! Love to all of you!❤❤❤
In five years your rose garden is going to be so magnificent you'll be able to charge people to visit ❤
I bet a ton of teens would love to have prom or graduation pictures in front of that archway into the protégé garden once it's all filled in.
In a few years, it will also be a beautiful place for wedding pictures. Possibly a beautiful place to get married, too.
You and Brook have such a special farm. And unique in that your animals ALL love you so much. Everywhere you go your animals run to see you. The more I watch, the more I realize it’s not that they think you are going to feed them. They just love being in your company! What a great “everyday” watch❣️
I just love seeing Mildred come to you when you are in the barnyard. She loves to get your attention and sniff you. She's so adorable. Never thought I would say that about a cow. And those baby goats are so precious.
Yes, Mildred has become a real pet...she loves Jason and
Brooke completely and it is obvious they love her.
I really respect how you guys are with marycarl and giving her privacy and respect, she is a credit to you both and a very talented young woman. Wish more parents on social media did the same thing
God bless the bird genius, Mary Carl...:)
I miss hearing Whipoorwills. This area has grown so much that they have moved on. It’s been at least 20 years since I’ve heard one. I do have owls, hawks, deer, raccoon possums. Many song birds. The Parterre garden is beautiful. I just love your farm. You and Brooke provide great content
I love Whipoorwills. My mom told me a story when I was little and I never miss a call which isn’t often but always cherished. I’m lucky to still hear them from time to time.
I live in an apartment in Southern California an we have a large house behind us an the ppl put up a brick fence I guess yrs ago but there's a 6ft brick wall then a 6ft tall thin picket type fence up against it an they lined the fence on their side with privacy tall different type trees an there's lots of birds an we have an opossum that we c often an I was shocked to find out the opossums only carry babies for 13 days crazy to me but that little lady lives n the fence an I kept wondering how she seemed to constantly have what looked like new babies so often then found out 13 days that explains it but we have a pair of parrots 🦜 an red tail hawks an tons of cats that breaks my heart cuz the main ones started out as pets n nobody got them fixed so they're mostly wild feral cats an most of them injured I want to trap them so they can b fixed treated n released so sad how ppl dont take care of their animals an yesterday my daughter an I heard the 18 yr old guy next to us beating an choking his dog I.m sry I did call animal control an they said they'd call me back it's been almost 24hrs haven't heard back yet but I cant sit by an do nothing it's so sad
I haven’t heard one either for many years or seen a pheasant
Just beautiful. I hope to see wedding pictures one day with Mary Carl as the lovely bride in your parterre garden.
It's definitely a great place for pictures of all occasions ...
Agreed. That would be magical to get married in her parents garden. Years of hard work to be a magical moment and memory to cherish forever.
OMG that would be a beautiful garden to be married in❤
They say that gardening is the ultimate definition of optimism. You plant and have faith that things will grow. So Jason, one day I expect to see your photo next to the word Optimism in the dictionary, because YOU are the epitome of that word. Thank you for the tour, and appreciate all the hard work you all do to bring us along into your world. My day wouldn't be complete without watching your videos. I'm sure that I'm not the only one who feels that way. Watching from SW Ohio ❤
DITTO!! For Sure!!
The saying refers to farmers but what are gardeners but small scale farmers. 😊
Cannot believe how much things have grown. And how much work you’ve put in. Your enthusiasm for planting made me smile during the entire tour. Bless you and your mentors, Jason and Tracy.
Beautiful Jason! You and Brooke should be so proud of what you have done!
Absolutely.
The gift is theirs that we are able to view anytime 😊
I'm in awe of how fantastic your farm is coming along! I really enjoy these types of videos, too😊 If they vote, Jason is the best creator out there😊
😢😢😢😢😢😢😢
👍👍👍👍👍
@@paulinesmith3192Why sad?
Brook,Jason you guys are such a blessing to so many us, because y'all are kind gentle people in my opinion watching your videos is pretty close to free mental health care! Hugs and kisses to both of you. I will keep y'all in my prayers 🐞🌿🌷💐
Making informed decisions as you work your new property has led to so many beautiful benefits. Well done indeed!
Jason and Brook the garden is absolutely gorgeous. I can just imagine sitting out under the stars at night listening to the Whippoorwills. Y’all have done an exceptionally beautiful job. Thank you. I love it.
Jason, AMAZING VIDEO! Your love of God's Creation shines everytime...including Brooke & MC. Thank you for sharing❤
One is nearest GODS heart in a garden than anywhere else on earth. I found this quote in a seed catalog. So true.
Jason, thank you for sharing a snippet of your life on the farm. God has blessed you and in turn we are blessed to watch you care for what God so graciously gave you. It is wonderful to see you with your babies, how you care for them, how much they love you. Your gardening skills are amazing to watch and learn from. God bless you, Mary Carl and Brooke.
Your hill side roses are becoming a wonderful, natural, barrier to your back porch area. Human, coyote, or deer will be less likely to want to walk up that hill side through those thorns.
I was thinking the same thing. H'mmm, I am now thinking that Brooke, MaryCarl and Jason will need a secret paths down the hill . Lol
Thanks for the amazing tour of your lovely farm! I love to witness how much your animals appreciate your excellent care for them every day.
Jason, your tour was so beautiful! It is amazing what you and Brooke have done in just three years. .I’m sure you are both proud of what you’ve accomplished !
I just want to say thank you for this beautiful video and allowing us from afar to view and walk along on your journey of your farm life. Again, thank you 😊
Jason, thank you for sharing your labor of love and gardening. I learn a lot from these videos. 😊
I agree without trying a natural teacher
Best content on any platform, hands down. Thank you Cog Hill Farm ❤
Love the tour today. My goodness! You have done so much since you moved to this farm. The bees must be in heaven! Can’t wait to see the harvest❤❤❤
Thank you Jason for the lovely tour of the farm. Yall should be very proud of all you have accomplished. 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻♥️♥️🇺🇸🇺🇸
Absolutely loved this tour! So many wonderful things to remember. Planting those bushes, trees, flowers etc.! Then for a walk down memory lane! Bountiful blessings!! Thank you, Lord. I love you all! ❤️❤️
Those kids still fit together perfectly, the relationship from the womb manifest for the camera.
We have had butterfly bushes for over 49 years with no issues. You can cut them and make new plants but only grow with cuttings. Your garden is soooo beautiful, in years to come I see you having open house garden tours .
Amazing! The Good Lord and you, Brook and Mary Carl, have created a paradise!
I’ve heard the rule of thumb for roses is:
First year, they sleep.
Second year, they creep.
Third year, they LEAP!
😊
Think about rosemary to add to the rose garden. The scent and medicinal benefits of both would be great.
Jason your excitement gets me so excited. You and Brooke do such an awesome job.
Hi from 🇦🇺. I’m getting to sleep so late because I like watching your videos before going to sleep.
My day would not be complete without the latest Cog Hill Farm video. Your farm is looking absolutely gorgeous now.
Thank you so much for taking us on the farm tour, Jason. You and Brooke have done so much hard work on the place. I remember when the spot where the house is now was just a dirt plot! It was so much fun watching it take shape and grow into your beautiful home! 😍❤️❤️
The gardens are doing amazingly well and your love for gardening sure shines through. ❤️🌹
Love Mildred's face as you brush her...she is just in her favorite place! 😍 Love your donkeys too!
Can't believe what you all have done on your farm in such a short time, an awesome homestead !!! It is gorgeous! What a fabulous tour today! . The basis of the stewardship tradition is to be found in Genesis 2:15 where God establishes man and woman in the garden and tells them to “cultivate and take care of it”. The implication is that human beings are called into a relationship with God and are called to care for creation. You & Brooke are a great Stewarts to God's land and livestock .
Thank you for taking me on your tour; showing me your flowers.
You are a green thumb grower, knowing all the flowers, I'm amazed by your knowledge
Blessed be!🙏🏻
Hello to y'all
Mildred definitely wasn't going to be passed up on the brushing. She stood there like she was royalty. Lol
Jason and Brooke, I'm like a proud mama at seeing the work and the beauty you two have created on the farm. It is all just gorgeous. God bless
Good morning, the garden is coming along so beautifully. You can almost smell the roses. I have purchased some of the roses you have growing and they are coming along just great. Thank you for sharing your garden.😊
You guys have a beautiful place for MaryCarl, if she chooses, to have a wedding someday!! By that time your garden will look like a nursery!🙏❤
An amazing overview of the beautiful Cog Hill. The passion you have for plants, animals, and your family is unparalleled. your vision for the farm growing all coming to fruition ❤ it will never cease to amaze me how far you have come. Can’t wait to see for years to come !! Oh the things you will do 😊 y’all be good. ❤
Jason, the partere garden is lovely! The hillside of roses is magnificent! You'll have lots of fruit from your orchard. You two have worked very hard to make Cog Hill a special place!💕
Thank you for the tour. We kind of forget the layout and how the new plant additions are enhancing what you already have. Great job!! The animals look so healthy and well loved. You and Brooke are quite the farm duo. God’s blessings
Good Morning from NE Oklahoma ❤ I live Viciously thru you Jason because I used to Love gardening but I suffer from chronic back pain now so Im unable to do it anymore. Watching your videos brings me great joy especially in the spring with the New Baby Goats and All the Flowers. Im so eager to see how many baby Emu's your going to have running around! That is going to be EPIC ❤❤❤❤
Oh, so lovely, Jason! This tour was magnificent! You and Brooke have worked so hard and it is all so well planned and so beautiful! Your channel has become my favorite - pls do not burn out.
Amazing I have been following you for years. It is so wonderful what you and Brooke have done with your property.
Thank you for the beautiful farm tour Jason. It lifted my spirits! I had just watched Daniel Arms family tragedy. My prayers are with the folks for the tornado in Sulfur Springs and flooding with the loss of their baby donkey.
Your gardens are so peaceful. You and Brooke definitely have green thumbs... your knowledge.. knowing the names and the details.Thank you for sharing your beautiful place!! You all make me smile everyday!!
I always think that farming is Jason's jam, animals are Brooke's and birds, MaryCarl and Brooke's Mom is overseeing them all. 😊
Everything looks great, from the gardens to the critters and everything in between. Jason, when you talk to the "girls" while brushing them, you sound so zen and soothing, it's like you're channeling Bob Ross with a southern accent. You are putting some great stuff out into the universe!
Your farm is looking fantastic! Can’t wait to see what else you plant and see Mildred and Moody together in their pasture. 😊
Yes No matter how much they get Done always something else to look forward too. Moody in his home and more Baby Goats, Golden Nuggies coming soon Back Kitchen garden with the Silkies. and and and LOL
Totally enjoyed the tour and catch up on the babies. What a blessing that they’re all doing well.
Thank you Mildred and Jesse for making me laugh out loud!!! So funny how interested they are in everything you are doing! I love it! Honey does look beautiful!!!
You have to be so satisfied with the progress you’ve made on the farm in 3 years. It really looks so good! I can’t wait to see the trees you’ve planted after they’ve grown some. Props to you and Brooke for all your hard work 🏆🥇
It amazes me what you have accomplished in 3 years! You have added so much beauty to your property and soon you will be blessed with its bounty. Thank you for the tour today ❤
❣Thank you for the wonderful farm tour. You guys have done SO much to not just improve your property, but also beautify it beyond what most people attempt. It's all just phenomenal and I thoroughly enjoyed watching❣
What you have done in such a short time is just amazing. So beautiful….watch out, soon you’ll be giving tours of your gardens and I wouldn’t be surprised if brides started asking to have their weddings in your gardens.
Jason and Brook please be safe. Both Arms family and Lester and Jamie are going through a rough time. Everything pray for them
I really loved the spring views of Cog Hill. It is so beautiful.
Love all the roses . So pretty and tranquil back there. I really like your bottle tree. Such a southern thing.
BEAUTIFUL 🥀
Good morning, Jason!
You and your family are just amazing human beings. Your passion and excitement for all things is so wonderful to see. Ya'll have done an outstanding job making your place a show stopper! Everything looks Marvelous!! Ya'll are truly blessed. I think you could even give Petals From The Past a run for their money!! Loving it all!
Ya'll have a very beautiful farm. And I know you've both worked so hard for it. But ya'll've enjoyed every second you've been there! Always laughing and kidding around. Blessed! Warms my heart!❤❤
Hi Jason , your gardens are gorgeous. The beautiful colours they produce is fantastic. It’s going to be like sitting in paradise!! 👍👍❤️❤️🇨🇦
How beautiful. Can’t even imagine being able to go outside my door and see those beautiful roses right there. I have some roses. But of course nothing like yours. For one, we live in a residential district. I’m a farm girl but my husband isn’t. I just want him to be satisfied where we live. Now we are 76 and can’t handle a farm. Back issues that can’t be fixed. But I can enjoy yours. Thank you so much to you and Brooke for your time and effort to make these videos so others can enjoy a little piece of what you enjoy and learn a lot too. Thank you. All the plants and flowers you’ve planted for the bees could be considered a “Bee Smorgasbord”! lol. I pray blessings over you from OKC.❤
Good morning CogHill and CogSquad😊
Good Morning Blessed Day
@carolbaughman2412 yes, you too :)
In the spring when the roses wake up, a lot of people top dress with a mix of epsom salts and alfalfa pellets. Because alfalfa pellets are upto very expensive from the gardening world and hard to find plus expensive from the farming world, many use rabbit food pellets with the highest concentration of alfalfa they can find.
You two take such a good job taking care of the animals, and it shows.
Beautiful farm. Jason, Brooke, and MC are a great family working together and keeping their babies(animals) happy and healthy!
Enjoy your videos. Thank you for sharing your daily with us. We learn so much.
66 and sunny in Elk Grove IL❤

Good Morning from South Carolina have a blessed day ❤
The hillside roses are beautiful. Everything is looking beautiful.
LOVE IT ALL - Jason!! ❤ Y’all have accomplished so much in 3 yrs, I’m so impressed with the gardens but especially love the animals and all your videos. You are a fantastic video creator 🫶🏼
All of the gardens look incredible .it shows the hardwork and dedication you have put into it ,i cannot wait to see the day that the swags are covered in gorgeous colour and the perfume will be heavenly ,the Zephrine Drouin is a personal favourite of mine love that heady scent ,the orchard ,the Potogee Parterre gardens and the rose arch to the greenhouse stunning Jason and Brooke i feel so blessed that your sharing this beauty with us all thankyou ❤❤
Wow-wee! You guys have worked so hard on your land. It's gorgeous! Your orchard, especially.
Jason, your talents are amazing with your roses, fruit orchards, your gardens, and your pasture areas.
Learn something from you guys nearly every time we watch one of your videos. Like those radishes being so beneficial for your soil and your honey bees!
Great job. Happy farmer happy plants
I remember you putting out the portraits and the first pigs on the property even before you all had moved out of little Cog Hill. Amazing, isn't it?
Jason, I'm so happy to hear that you have the Golden Delicious Apple in your fruit orchard! That apple originated in my Home county of Clay, West Virginia.
We hold a celebration every fall in September celebrating The Golden Delicious Apple.
Its like a homecoming. The high school, Clay County High School, has their homecoming football game and high school reunions, too. I had my 40yr reunion last year 💫🫶
People come from all over the world to help us celebrate our golden yellow fruit. 🌎 💖 💞
Happy to see the amazing transformation of the Cog 40! I was hoping to see the front gate area with the daffodils and plantings. Thank you for sharing the Cog Family journey. I enjoy every video! 💕🇨🇦
Hey Jason and family!❤
Such wonderful stewards of your land and animals Harriet God bless you all❤❤❤
What a beautiful job y'all have done transforming the 40!
In case y'all don't know, please try to keep the dogs and cats away from the muscodine and grapes. They can be toxic
You and brook just need a gazebo with some hammocks in between the the garden and the orchard.
