Tbh I'd say go for an endgame build for a character that's less popular for your next one. Every character has vast potential but I barely see any vids on my boy Rackham. He is built for DPS and nothing else (pretty sure he's the only character in the game with no party wide buff or utility)
@LCDgunmage yeah i plan to do build videos on characters i like not necessarily "meta" tbh it just takes a while cause i gotta grind mastery points🤣 and my boy rackham siting at 0 offense and defense💀
You definetely should pick Ragnarok, the most important skill for his kit. The fact that you can make his godform last twice as long is very important, since he deals the most amount of damage in that form.
True and i do understand what you are saying its just in my testing i was only able to use the ragnarok move once per quest and thats just cause my ID clears these maniac quests fast
But tbh i rather have all damage moves cause i can just build the meter up again😂
Cause regardless you will be going back to the base form and when u do you will have a move you cant use cause of its super long cooldown
@@Proxiius That's fair. Thankfully you can't go wrong either way, all skills are usable. I just noticed in several tests that extending godmode (and being able to use the finisher twice that way), increased the overall dps quite a lot.
But yeah if the fight is too short to make use of Ragnarok more than once, I can totally understand your choices
@@Zanktus yeah so probably when i hit proud mode then it will feel better then but as you saw😂 my ID is 14k power and these maniac quests are way lower than me😂😂 i think the newest one i received was 9.5k power so i clear them pretty fast💀
True Ragnarok does have a super long cool down, and I won't say it's absolutely essential but you can iirc animation cancel out of the final strong attack in God might and refresh it. Also cascade and quick cooldown would def help cut that long wait time down.
Come to think of it there is one reason I can think of to double up on the 4 skills you swap to in dragon form, and that's IF their powered up versions in God Might are worth it. I haven't tested this myself or seen anyone put up a vid showing the diffs
@@LCDgunmage I get what you are saying but tbh i rather just slot in another damage skill because in god might the "big damage" comes from his heavy string and once you use that it consumes the gauge i mean honestly at this point i feel like its up to preference tbh😂

Another option you can utilize (unless you werent doing it to get the combo finishers out faster which is completely plausible) is when you press triangle with decent timing after using almost any skill Id will do a special multi slash combo finisher, which in human and god might mode effectively turn Unbound, Reginliev and Arcadia into fast ways hit distant lock ons and gap close to their front door. For it to work with Never Enough you have to wait for the healing part of the skill to pass (when he hits his chest), otherwise you'll just cancel the animation with a normal uncharged strong attack
Nah i knew about animation canceling but i usually just did it with the doge button

You can dodge cancel fourfold into charged flurry. I never use fourfold, only dodge cancel it when other skills on cooldown. It’s a must to me.
I open only using it and save all my skills for god mode when I’m actually trying.

U just have to attack and use combo finishers in dragon form
Its the same process of building up and going into dragon form when you transform build the meter the same way
