The funniest part at 11:10. "...Take this fu-----take this cap off here". Lol!
Thanks man you made it so easy for someone who’s new to compressors
Excellent video. Breaking in and cleaning out is key towards the unit lasting a long time
good review, I like how you give some good tips on the basics
Great no nonsense practical review. 👍
I will get this compressor after your review and do exactly what you did to break-in. Thanks!
Thanks for watching👍
I purchased the 10 gallon and found your review very helpful. Thank you.
I'm glad my video was able to help you. Thanks for watching

Good tips to know, most times the manufacturer don't tell you these things
Thanks!
I'm glad to see you broke it in. Seems most people plug it in and go. Then complain when in seizes up. You take care of your tools!
Thank you. Thanks for watching
Great video! Just picked up the same one, and I wanted to know I was breaking it in correctly. Thanks man!
You're welcome. Enjoy your compressor
Large Car Ace Thank you for the well done helpful video my work bench looks like yours with the big vice on the right side . I just bought the same compressor and will break it in the way you did and then put in the Husky synthetic oil .

The compressor is still working top notch. No complaints about it. Glad the video helped you. Thanks for watching.
Great video! I just took advantage of the $99 clearance sale, as well.
Outstanding. Thank you
Incredible video! Thanks for your detailed and clear message!
You're welcome. Thanks for watching.
Just got one today. Great 👍 vid on how to get it out the box and break it in. Too bad I got the compressor out like a caveman.
Damn fine job. Well done sir !
Nicely done good video
Appreciate your help
You're welcome
Good educated review💯
Great review I am looking to get this or the bigger one. Your instructions were great. I am so new to this, I guess the unit stays off until the tank gets to a specific pressure that you physically set with red knob?
Nice how to video. I knew there was more to breaking in than described in the manual (which didn't explain how). I actually ran my compressor twice and the oil was poor both times I changed it out. I feel far more confident that I removed a very high percentage of the shavings and foreign material that could cause problems and either infant mortality or a mid-life cycle failure. Thanks again for the informative video. I make a habit of opening the drain valve and draining down pressure so no water or moisture sets in and starts to corrode the interior of the tank every time I use the compressor.
Charles Bare I'm glad the video help you out. Cheers
Hello Large Car Ace,
Thank You so much for this very well done video!!!
So much appreciated!
You answered so many questions that I’ve been wondering about.
Also, Thank You for showing (in detail) how this works and the proper way to break it in.
I’ve been wanting to buy an air compressor for a long time.
I’m thinking of getting this one mainly because of the price and capability that it has.
I don’t know much about air compressors.
May I ask you a couple questions?
1. Would this be safe to run in my basement for about 10 minutes?
( I don’t have much ventilation in my basement)
2. Where would be a good place to buy a good rubber hose and nozzle like you have?
Thank You again!
good compressor had 1 for 3 yrs
Love synthetic oil runs cooler
What is special about the air compressor oil? Can I use the common 5w30?
Just got one , my handle doesn't bounce around like yours.
I have the exact same one but when my tank is full of air and I open the valve to the line nothing comes out anyone know what that problem is?
Thanks for the schooling. I wasn't planning on buying one today but HF had one refurbished for $43. How can you say no to that?
I just got a refurbished one today for $43 as well durning their tent sale. How do you like yours?
Is this compressor works good for roofing jobs? I work replacing shingles on the roofs
Yes this compressor could handle a nail gun.
I'd think the drain plug would be metric on a Chinese motor, good vid
Thanks for watching
I'm seriously considering buying this compressor. Would you put it up against a bigger name brand compressor?
Buy the compressor. You won't be disappointed. It's still working perfectly
Make sure you tighten the handle too
still working?
Budget Tech the compressor is still working great. Used it this morning
Make sure you get a good quality funnel too not a cheesy one
Is there an Oil Filter on this Unit ??
No. There is no oil filter on this unit.
WHAT'S IN THHHHHE BOX
Does it eat up oil?
No it doesn't eat up oil at all. Thanks for watching
What part of New York are you from Large Car Ace? I like you accent. You probably are gonna ask me What accent? Ha
LoL.. Orange County New York. 50 miles north of New York City. Cheers
sucks in the cold
Metal particles in the oil? WTH, how sad. Will you need to change it every half hour? No quality control?
You have absolutely no idea how equipment is machined and then sent to stores to be sold. Yeah change the oil every half hour Jerry Flunky. Hahaha.. what a moron
Jerry, most engines have a break in all the very fine particle are normal. a lot of parts inside getting acquainted..lol. then change the oil I dont know with this motor but every 50 hrs, 100 hrs, depends.
Jerry don't be offended, remember, this guys finger is bleeding from doing and oil change, and he's using a SAE 3/4" on a metric nut.
@@LargeCarAce nice one ace i thought the same thing........moron! Great explanation on breaking in.......straight to the point....not alot of talking like alot people on videos talking waayyyy too much, thanks again now i can go break mine in!😎👊👍
wt? whats wrong with your head? even cars have to change their ol after the first 500 miles dude 😂
Change the oil Bine Head
Boring video, longer than it needs to be. Neither of my compressors have run long enough to break them in, ready to return the second one for a replacement.
You might as well return both compressors. You haven't ran them long enough to break them in? You might as well return them because you just don't use the equipment. Go buy yourself a bicycle pump.
@@LargeCarAce 🔥 ouch! 😂
