Enjoyable day. I thought the mixed exposure shots of the birds and ocean at the beginning of the video was awesome. Great vid. Looking forward to the next meet 👍👍

I'm definitely for the picture with the 10 stop nd filter 😍 and also love the picture with the seagulls.
When you came up to the lighthouse, in the video, and you showed the lighthouse and Gerry went away I said: The lighthouse must be taken right from there later in the day" and then it finally came 😂 👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

Hi Paul! I prefer the longer exposure of your first shot. I think smoothing out the water allows the texture of the rocks to add more interesting contrast.

Very nice Paul. I'm mixed on short vs long exposures. I'm leaning to the long for the first with the rocks. I could go either way with the lighthouse image. Either way, I really enjoyed the video. Thanks Paul.

It is a good bit of coast -- i think thats Torness Nuclear Power Station in the distance, which i keep clear of.

Loved the slow shutter images the best and that bonus shot was magnificent. Thanks for sharing.

Nice to see you up in my neck of the country...in your first image I preferred the long exposure to simplify the scene as there is enough texture with the rocks ..the long exposure makes them stand out for me...
In your second last image looking up the coast it's Torness Power Station...the hill to the left is Berwick Law, the Bass Rock island in the Forth of Forth and East and West Lomond to the right of your frame in Fife, lovely image also.😊

Well done! I like.the longer exposure of the lighthouse. The more muted color of the water blends with the subdued color of the wall/stairs, a more complete continuation of the scene.

Excellent video Paul , quality work as per usual as it's a difficult location to work with at low tide , I personally love the L.E. shots , the one with the 2 rocks and the birds works very well , I have never tried that before { I.E. blending a fast shutter speed with a L.E. } it definitely works well in that situation and one that I shall be having a go at , Im partially disabled Paul so very fortunate that I could drive right upper to the lighthouse , otherwise I could never have made that walk , so hats of of you and Gary for taking on that walk , I have seen one or two Images of that slipway you were looking at , and again I think that it requires you to be there at the right time , also I never realised that the sun set on the East coast from that location , lovely to see the both of you out enjoying one another company , take care , and glad that you got your tooth fixed

What´s happening in the smooth shot? Nothing! So i prefer the first shot. Concerning the lighthouse photo: It´s a calm photo so i pefer the smooth version. Great colours during sunset.

I prefer the faster lighthouse shutter speed. It says “ocean” to me instead of “blue blob” behind the lighthouse, and the lighthouse contrast enough in color and texture that I don’t find it distracting.
