It's pleasing when folks choose not to be a victim. 💯
How about leaving money and having a gun then causing a huge and expensive mess.. suspicious combo

The thoughtless victim shouldn't have shot the thief. Take note Republicans.
A duty to retreat.. what an insane concept. If someone is trying to kill you, it makes no sense to punish the victim for defending themselves.
It used to be a law that in your own home you had to prove your life was threatened if you killed an intruder. If they had no weapon you had no right to kill them. Well now that's not the law I'm disabled and old if your on my property and threatening harm I can't run and I sure as hell can't win a fight I'm using my gun. I also have audio/video surveillance so everything from the road to my home is recorded!
Yeah before you defend your self you have to remember you have to be running the opposite way. So make you practice your fadeaway
And yet, there are many that would deprive you of the right to defend yourself in your home, so running away would be your only option.
Here in Canada we are even expected to flee our home if possible to do so. Only if we are cornered in our house and can't reasonably escape can we use force on a home invader. Also if a criminal injures us and we shoot/harm them while they are attempting to flee, we can and have been charged and convicted because the criminal was considered no longer a threat...
Basically violent criminals have more rights than law abiding citizens. America ain't perfect but you guys have wayyy better self defense rights that's for sure.
Turn the other way to run and get shot or stabbed in the back. No thanks.
"If violent crime is to be curbed, it is only the intended victim who can do it. The felon does not fear the police, and he fears neither judge nor jury. Therefore what he must be taught to fear is his victim."

I'm glad the victim got his money back, but three things you definitely don't leave in your car unattended are a child, your money, or your gun. Lesson learned I hope.
Especially your gun. It is the most important.
Unfortunately, some people need their gun for most of their day out, but occasionally run into gun free zones. If they would get rid of gun free zones, less guns would be stolen, and the world would be a little safer.

I commend you sir, for fighting and defending yourself
In other words Texas and other states don't "require" you to submit to being a victim who is required by law to run away when threatened anymore!
Why would they when you caqn just shoot someone?
Unless your an Army sgt driving and get stopped by an armed protestor in Austin.
No. It's more like your word against theirs. Take notice that no gun was recovered.
So, if you're ever accused of a crime in TX, and the person comes at you, you can kill them legally by saying you saw them pull out a gun. Later, authorities will find a cell phone, or a bag of Skittles, but it's only about your perception of the situation.
And I'm not saying the thief didn't do anything. I'm saying that in Texas, even looking at someone the wrong way can get you killed. I bet there's a way to murder an entire family and be fully protected under Texas law.

Don’t call it jugging, call it armed robbery
Good job! Can’t expect law enforcement to be able to do anything. Crim drew his weapon and got what was coming to him. Fug ‘em.
How do we know the other guy didn't have his gun drawn first? If this is the standard, then the dude who robbed him would have been justified in murdering the dude he just robbed the second the victim tried to defend himself.
Note that that is exactly the situation with the dude who killed that protestor. He driver committed a crime by recklessly driving into that crowd. Then he saw a guy with a gun and immediately killed him. But since the driver had a gun himself, AND he committed the crime to begin with, the protestor could have legally killed him right there, right?
In situations like this, where both people have guns, are we saying that whoever shoots first is automatically right and whoever gets shot and either dies or surrenders is automatically wrong? Because that seems like exactly what Gov Abbott is saying.
Try committing a crime and see how much law enforcement doesn't do
@@rdean150 doesnt matter, the criminal got his dose of reality.
@@rdean150 Who cares? Why are you defending a thief?
1. This was a robbery, so fleeing felon, which would be legal to shoot.
2. Foster was pointing an ak47 at a man when a mob of black people attacked his car. Would you shoot someone pointing a gun at you while a group attack your car? Probably would shoot someone for even less than that. But you seem like the type that says guns are terrible and youd rather bludgeon someone with a baseball bat with nails driven into it because its not as bad as a gun lmao
It may seem odd to leave money in the car but in this case I'm betting if he had carried it in the store, the criminal would have got the drop on him with that gun before he got inside. It all seemed to work out as it should.
This old man is so tone deaf. This victim is lucky that he had a gun to fight back the suspect who stole his stuff. He should not be charged
When schools no longer discipline unruly students and our "justice" system no longer punishes criminals it should not be surprising that criminals run rampant.
This is a good story. Man tries to get his money back, dude pulls a gun on him, gets shot in the face. I think his life of crime has ended. Happy ending. If you rob and pull a gun, you life is now worthless. Same with anyone pointing guns at people in a car. Your live is worthless as you considers other lives to be worthless. It's a sad time when people think it's acceptable to threaten anyone for criminal or other stupid reasons.
You think these criminals learn from their mistakes?
Put these same "stand your ground" laws in effect in schools across the country, and bullying will become absolete.
@@herzfeldji Some do, some don't. Like in anything. Some learn from watching the mistakes of others. Some have to make their own mistakes. Some have to make several. It doesn't matter if they really did or not. It's your word against theirs by whoever shoots and calls the police first.
It's just plain old robbery to me, following a person with money has been happening for thousands of years.
