  • This webinar will cover the essential aspects related to the design and manufacture of pressure vessels (RAP) for industrial applications.
The objective of the webinar is to provide answers to questions such as…
+ What are the most commonly used design codes for pressure vessel design and manufacturing?
+ What committees or working groups does ASME have?
+ How is the Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (ASME BPVC) organized?
+ How is the ASME VIII code organized?
+ What is the scope of application of the ASME VIII Div.1 code?
+ What kind of loads is a RAP subjected to?
    + What is joint efficiency?
+ How are the thicknesses of equipment subjected to internal/external pressure obtained?

For small pressure vessels equipped with a detachable cap (door) and constructed through the deep drawing process, is adherence to the ASME design code for welding still required? Specifically, when choosing between deep drawing and welding methods, does opting for deep drawing facilitate compliance with ASME standards? How switching to deep draw makes the life easier?
