3 biggest things inspecting pools

The three biggest things that you need to know about inspecting swimming pools is one, big ticket items are going to cost you a lot of money if you miss and life safety issues. Think with me here for a second.
Think like a home inspector badass. Regardless of whether your state or your company excludes certain things, think about a home buyer that feels that they have been substantially harmed. Because pool resurfacing or a pool pump replacement can be low to mid-thousands falling back
on these exclusions may not serve you the best. Look end of life and major component arguments can always be there. If you get sued, it's going to cost you time and money. If you get a bad social media review, it's going to cost you time and money. Think a little bit differently here.
The other thing being life safety issues. Listen, regardless of whether you even exclude the entire pool in your report saying you don't do it and your state says that you don't have to do it. If somebody drowns, you are very likely going to be included in a wrongful death suit and that's a place you don't want to be. So think a little bit differently here. All things electric bonding and barrier systems, these are things that you must know and they can all be found in NEC 680 and or the IRC or FBCR depending on where you live. So these are really not hard reads. They're really things that you need to know and you need to think a little bit differently.
