  • This week we discover magical Sintra. Julia joins Randy and me as we explore Portugal for a month. Sintra can be reached easily by bus, train, or in our case, rental car. The tree lined lanes are quite narrow and often crowded with vehicles. It is late September and considered the shoulder season. The weather is perfect and it is easier to get lodging at the last minute. We lucked out finding a beautiful apartment overlooking the square right across from the National Palace of Sintra often called the town palace. We'll give you a tour of our apartment, the town, and the palace. Next, we'll tour the castles on top of the mountain so be on the look out for that. Enjoy! ~ Trisha Selgrath
The music on the square was provided by Roberto Ricard. Julia and I bought CDs!
