In this video I show different places of Chaweng Beach by drone. We fly over Chaweng beach at low altitude, medium altitude, and high altitude. Then we fly over the pier of Chaweng Beach. We also fly over the sea of Chaweng Beach and the coastline of Chaweng Beach. A unique experience to see why Chaweng Beach is so beautiful and unique.
Chaweng Beach is the largest beach on Koh Samui (about 7 kilometer long) and the most famous and popular beach on Koh Samui. Chaweng Beach has a beautiful white sand beach and a calm and clear sea. This is why Chaweng Beach is considered as the best beach on Koh Samui! Chaweng Beach has the best nightlife of Koh Samui due to its many bars, cocktail bars, beach clubs, and restaurants.
Chaweng Beach is located in the city Chaweng on the island Koh Samui in Thailand. Chaweng is also known as Baan Chaweng. Koh Samui is also known and often misspelled as Ko Samui.
Central Chaweng Beach (the middle) of Chaweng Beach is the busiest part of Chaweng Beach. Most people are swimming here in the sea, which is enjoyable due to the small waves. On this side of the beach there are beach chairs, a beach volleyball field, and beach vendors that are selling food and drinks. Here is also the main entrance to Chaweng Beach. Along the beach you will find hotels, restaurants, and beach clubs.
In South Chaweng Beach you will find the pier and some boats. Here you will also find some rock formations on the beach and in the sea.
North Chaweng Beach is also a busy and popular area due to the many beach clubs like Ark Bar. North Chaweng Beach is ideal to drink, lounge, listen music, and party! Unfortunately it is not allowed to fly a drone at North Chaweng Beach because there is an airport nearby and drones can't form a danger and disturb the flight paths of airplanes. Most professional drones are automatically blocked by GPS to fly in that kind of no-fly zones.

People are still going and gathering to the beaches on Koh Samui these days. Chaweng is one of the most popular beaches. People relax, swim, and play volleyball together during the Corona Virus / Covid-19 crisis... A bit different then other parts of Thailand were people have to stay home!
The only downside of Samui,it is now very expensive.A reduction of jet ski operations on Chaweng can only be a plus.

Schön! Aufpassen beim Schwimmen, bin ein bisschen raus bis seitlich um den Berg rum und hatte dann ein Treffen mit einer rotbraunen Wasserschlange mit schwarzen Ringen... Eher in Strandnähe bleiben. Einzeln Flüge und Hotels buchen rentiert sich, FRA-BKK um die 650 hin und zurück und oft 7 für 5 Angebote und so weiter.

Oh I love Koh Samui, Chaweng beach is one of my top in Southeast Asia, along with Hadrin beach of Koh Phangan and White Beach of Boracay island. And yes Koh Rong of Cambodia just entered my top 5 too!

I love Koh Samui and Chaweng beach and chaweng noi. These are best ones and plus Silver beach for the picture. There are many things to improve still like roads and access to the beach for tourists who do not stay at beach resorts. Anyway one of the best islands and unfortunately I had to leave it earlier than I planned due to epidemic. God bless everyone and we will start travelling soon again! I love Thailand.
I agree with you! Silver Beach, Coral Beach, Chaweng Beach, and Chaweng Noi Beach are my favorite beaches in Koh Samui!
We visited there in 2016 for full moon party. Stayed at hotel next to Chaeweng Beach, slept on sand and saw sunrise MAGICAL place ⚡⚡

Isn’t it forbidden to fly there due to proximity of airport? Planes go basically over that beach on low altitudes
Yes, normally it is forbidden to fly over Chaweng Beach with a drone. But I got special permission from local authorities to fly with my drone at Chaweng Beach 😁 During the Covid19 pandemic there was a time that no planes were flying over Chaweng Beach

You need a better sd card so it can capture a smoother photo in 4k.
No. My sd card is already good enough to capture and give the best results in video recording in 4k. To get smoother footage, I could increase the FPS from 30 to 60, but my DJI Mavic Air drone doesn't support recording 4k in 60 FPS. Another option is that I could increase the shutter speed or fly my drone more slowly. I think my video is pretty smooth though!

That is difficult to say haha. I both like Koh Samui and Phuket. But I think Koh Samui has more beautiful beaches then Phuket!

Travel Here i lived there for 10 years on and off and I couldn’t recognise anything in that video.
I can confirm this is definitely Chaweng beach. I've been going to Chaweng nearly every year since 1996. For some reason this video covers only the southern part of the beach. I even recognised the area right at the end of the beach where the long tail boats are anchored. You can also see the small island just off the northern part.
@@alho9231 Thank you for confirming that this is Chaweng Beach! In the northern part of Chaweng beach it is not allowed to fly a drone because the northern part of Chaweng Beach is too close to the airport. That's the reason that I didn't and couldn't fly my drone there 😄
