Gamefreak doesnât get to tap into the monster that the IP as a whole is. What should happen is this goes swat for a bit. Wait until the next gen Nintendo system and reinvent the franchise top to bottom. But letâs be fair they have been pumping out 2 titles with small iterations per year for..ever. Also letâs be honest PokĂ©mon still sells to kids but the kids who grew up with it now 30+. The demographics donât matter, the sales donât either because it kills. Itâs Nintendoâs Call of Duty and manâŠit sells despite what people wish it would go away and come back reinvented

Dude, a scene that stuck with me from my childhood was of a man ripping his arm off to uncover the skeleton underneath it. It really shocked me. Only when I grew up did I realize that I was watching T2.

Do videos on trendy topics if that makes sense. Like take a min to think hmm what type of videos for what games would people be searching for right about now. Personally I feel that gives your video a higher chance of being picked up by the algorithm as opposed to if you did a video on a game that may not be big right now you know like maybe it came out awhile ago so not as many people are searching for content related to that game

Do you have a favourite game that does NOT hold your hand and forces you to learn by trial and error? As a horror game fan I must say one of my favourites is Visage, that without terrible controls would be a perfect game for me. I would like to try other games that are similar to that, where you have to explore and figure out things completely on your own.

Not really a question but just super appreciative of the way you go about video games and your reviews! It sometimes feels like gaming journalists hate what they are doing and video games in general, they often just full on poop on games and in the end it often feels like they are just not liking the games and hence everybody should not like them while you seem to have a more positive outlook and you try to very much bring across that some things might not be your thing, but might be right up someone elses alley and vise versa, while purely stating facts about the game and its gameplay, graphics, etc. I don't know if i'm the only one thinking like this, and i hope this made sense đ i hope you are having a great day!

If youâre having a hard time making friends to play games with, or just a good friend in general, I 100% agree with Jake about Discord. I am 36 and belong to a decent sized group of a few hundred, and it takes some time, but after a few months you will find someone who you just naturally gravitate towards. Iâve always been very resistant to the idea of online friends but I have met a few that I talk to almost daily. We started playing games, and now weâll call each other just to shoot the shit. Making friends definitely gets harder the older you get but itâs helped me, hope it helps you.

Here's my question is what are your thoughts on story telling when it comes to the matter "movie vs video games" . I know It sounds weird . But I think when a game tells a story it can feel more personal than a movie when its telling you the same story. Because of how immersed you can be in a game nowadays. I think video games can be as influential as movies when it comes to the matter of being an "Art"
Question for the next video: Whats your opinion on the perfect length for a game? Sometimes I feel like a game being long is an overrated metric of whether or not it's a good game. Ya know - you don't want every movie to be 3 hours long, sometimes you love a 90 minute film that knows exactly what is is and delivers on it. Just making a plug for the Nemesis System, and maybe a way to get around the patent: a beat 'em up hockey game like Blades Of Steel, or NFL Blitz, where you get a Nemesis on a team. Go through a season and have some payback rumbles where whole teams get pissed at each other.

Hey Jake! I've combed through your channel and haven't seen any mention of Outer Wilds. Out of mere curiosity, have you played it? If so, what did you think? Personally one of my favorite games and never pass up the opportunity to speak highly of it.
I think freedom fighters could use the same game play from battalion wars. Then having sections of the city walled off so that you would have to manage different groups in those different areas with the goal of merging all the groups by the end of the game
Couldnât agree more with the point about annual releases. I wish developers would figure it out so weâd get better follow-ups/continuations in game series. When you think about it, how good can a game really be if it needs a new iteration every year just to keep people interested?
