Minoru Miki - Marimba spiritual | WDR Symphony Orchestra

Minoru Miki's "Marimba Spiritual" was played by the percussionists of the WDR Symphony Orchestra, Peter Stracke, Johannes Steinbauer, Johannes Wippermann and Stephan Möller in the chamber concert on 22.09.2013 in the WDR Funkhaus, Cologne. In this piece, the Japanese composer combined western and far-eastern instruments and sound colors. Three percussionists accompany the solo marimba on Japanese Kodo and O-Daiko drums.

Well actually I'm not sure I agree, Grubinger looks pretty different from the guy in the video.
